  1. Please God, let Miami lose to unranked Louisville. Just hold on to your butts
  2. You guys have Justice Haynes. Be happy.
  3. It's a waste of good tortillas is what it is.
  4. Honestly, it's really mostly on the o-line. Bendenbaugh needs to retire. He's way past his prime, and BV, much like late stage Mack, can't see the forest for the trees, so it's killing the entire offense in general. It starts with the o-line, and I don't even know if Mateer can compete in this league. He got absolutely wrecked, albeit by an elite unit, but he was basically giving away free INT's, too. He was making his WR's turn into DB's from the second quarter on. I don't know much about Ott, but I did remember thinking it was not a solid pickup, even though everyone in the media was pumping him up like he was Justice Haynes or some shit. Just taking a look at Murray's recruiting and development proves he was not a good fit. Ou HAS to fire both Murray and Bendenbaugh if they want to have any success in this league. They are both terrible (prime Bendenbaugh was great). Murray flat out sucks. Taylor Tatum is as gone as Ced Baxter.
  5. Wait, Ole Miss/UGA is at 2:30. I'll see myself out.
  6. Never mind. I fucked up the time of the Ole Miss/UGA game. That's on me.
  7. But seriously. The SEC, too. They put us at 6pm. We have to compete against Ole Miss/UGA and Bama/Tenn. God damnit!
  8. We'll be fine at DL if we keep getting better each game. People need to accept that OL recruiting is 85% dog shit 3* recruits, but that 15% of the 4/5* actually do well, which is rare considering we only have like 5 combined right now. It's almost like if Flood actually recruited, you know, higher rates guys, we might actually produce an o-line that doesn't have a Connor Stroh taking up a scholarship. Also, Turntine isn't going to aggy. That's a dream for them.
  9. I don't think Ott is in the dog house, I think he just sucks. He was an anomaly for a season at Cal, but in reality he's just bad. He did almost have 1k in 2022, but otherwise he's bad to diarrhea. At least at ou, which makes it even better. Think of John Harris and his 1k season for us. He miraculously got to 1k, but again, an anomaly.
  10. Damn, Bailey. 8.5 sacks in 6 games is damn good. Well deserved honor.
  11. Damn. Tough loss. Good luck to the guy.
  12. You know, honestly, that would actually be the most hilarious thing ever if they didn't even attempt a pass and win by 21. I will probably die of fucking laughter.
  13. Wow, really? Why do you believe that? I really think they're making the CFP. They may lose a game or two, but they're a lock, imo. That "one time" backup QB they have is pretty bad ass. Aggy, OTOH, has Reed, but they do have Moss and Craver/Concepcion., but they also haven't faced an elite defense, or even a defense in the top 15 yet, so this will be either hilarious or numbing. Mizzou D is legit, as is ours and LSU. They're in trouble with at least 2/3 of those teams, and I'm betting they lose all 3 because of the defenses. Mizzou will also pour some points on them with Hardy obliterating their front DL and their tiny man baby York. Their DBs are abhorrent.
  14. I'm agreeing with you. And yeah, it takes time to build a roster, but my point was that tech will take a decade at best at the rate they're going for high school recruits. They have to do better than just throwing money at 1-2 kids a year and hoping evaluations are spot on for the others. I mentioned John Sellers, but I don't know if he donates to the football program or just mainly softball (which is what I read he donatesld to). Also, yeah, know others donate and their names aren't out there, but that doesn't negate my initial response regarding the spending and building a deep roster. I did not watch the Oregon/Indiana game because, well, it's Indiana and I don't care about them. I just heard they bodied Oregon, which maksa me happy. Fuck Oregon. The SEC as a whole is an unknown. No team has looked truly impressive, and I'm going to disagree with you about aggy's win over a ND team that had a new QB and has a shit o-line. So other than that, they've played no one. They're fool's gold. They have road games at Mizzou, LSU, Tex, and at Arky (they'll beat them). Those first three are not gimmes. They will for sure lose to us and either LSU or Mizzou, or both. You're right about ou. They're dog shit with or without Mateer, and their defense is a joke. Ole Miss will make the playoffs, that's what I know. I absolutely love their passing game and run game. Kiffin is a dude. I want him at Texas so bad. No one in the B1G is truly elite, elite. Anyone is beatable. Michigan's run game is outstanding right now, and I don't believe fOSU can contain Justice Haynes. I don't know shit from fuck about Indiana other than Cignetti is not human. I haven't watched any Big XII games since we left, but I did see some highlights of your QB and he looked really good. And yes, your goal is to make the playoffs, which after looking at the scores, tech is dominating the competition, which is exactly where you want to be. So we are in agreement. As for the Smith/Tate argument, Illinois did a great job, too. I'll admit that I was wrong and we both handled them. We're the only two teams so far. We're halfway through the regular season, but you have to admit holding a generational talent two years in a row is some great work. That kid will be a top 5 pick next year. Like Barron, Littleton will also be a first rd pick in 2 years, imo (subjective, I know. But he's shown elite traits already and smothered Smith, which isn't something to brush off). Anyway, tech will probably make the playoffs, and you already know it will take a lot of time to build a roster that can compete with likes of Texas (when we aren't cutting off our dicks), fOSU, Oregon, Georgia, etc. It will just take longer for tech due to proximity, making the right evaluations, keeping your roster intact, etc and so forth. It can and will be done in time. I'm all for seeing tech make the CFP, adn I'm curious as to who they face and how well they can hold up right now, which will tell us a lot about whether or not the transfers + recruits + depth can hang. That's all. Anyway, I didn't mean to get you all riled up. That wasn't my intention at all. You're a fucking hilarious poster and I enjoy your posts.
  15. Have you called and checked any of the morgues?
  16. Is this you? Because this is how your posts sounds after what was posted. Stop being a bitch and just be happy you have someone who will pay for one or two 5* and five to six 4* in a class.
  17. I'm not hating, I'm sayng I don't want him run into the ground. We're just 6 games into the season with 1 upperclassman RB, Wisner. Is Baxter ever playing again? This season? We need someone bigger who can take punishment and give Wisner a reprieve. He's a dawg, but he's not built to be a 3 down back for an entire season, and he's already banged up.
  18. Buddy, I don't know how to tell you this without it hurting, but we are in a bad place injury-wise. Wisner is banged up, we may never see Baxter again, Gibson is gone, and we're left with two freshmen RB'S trying to catch up to the speed of the game. Oh, and Sark is square peg round hole with Niblett, all 170 lbs of him, at RB. We need Michael Terry to just hold on to the ball, fuck some linemen up, and block for Arch, or go for a screen. He's a Derrick Henry size RB (not saying he's Derrick Henry) he just has the size to punish people.
  19. I do agree with you, but thus far Simon runs more into his o-line than he gets yards. He's speedy and quick, but he's trying to do too much, which is resulting in him running into the wrong holes. I think long-term he'll be great, but right now he and Clark are still freshmen trying to catch up to the speed of the game. Just like Clark has great cutting ability, but unfortunate he's cutting into the wrong team. Here's to hoping they figure it out quickly because we can't keep beating Wisner to shit.
  20. Here's our O-Line recruiting under Flood with rankings since 2022 2022: Kelvin Banks (5*) fell into our laps when Cristobal left for Miami. Absolute stud. Top 10 pick ❌ Cam Williams (3*) see above, expect for the stud part. He was a penalty machine, yet still drafted in the 6th rd to Philly after Gerry/Bobby hyping 1st-2nd rd bs ❌ DJ Campbell (5*) - Seinor - above average Neto Umeozulu (4* top 200) - RSJR - can't get out of his own way, or Flood is a moron who can't develop Malik Agbo (4*) was a jumbo TE who saw the field and did nothing ❌ Cole Hutson (3*) senior should be a 2* he's horrible Connor Robertson (3*) RS-JR - We're about to find out. He has to be better than that blowup pussy Hutson. 2023: Jaydon Chatman (4*) - RS-SO - still has time and apparently has shown promise Payton Kirkland (4*) now at his fourth school, UAB ❌ Trevor Goosby (3*) - RS-SO worth every penny. Will be a high draft pick if he comes back for another season Connor Stroh - (3*) RS-SO - easily the worst eval ever. Andre Cojoe - (3*) - actually showed real promise before injury 2024: Brandon Baker - (5*) - starter. Showing he's getting it, but young Daniel Cruz - (3*) - no fucking clue. Gerry sucks him off, so unless Robertson fails miserably and Hutson loses both legs, don't expect to see him for another 2 years Nate Kibble - (3*) - I fully believe he'll be a star. He's from Atascocita, an o-line factory 2025: Nick Brooks (4*) - getting PT now, so we'll see how fast he can pick up the offense, but he can move people. The inverse of Stroh Jordan Coleman - (3*) - No idea. I expect JAG Devin Coleman - (3*) - see above Jackson Christian - (3*) - who knows? Ten 3* recruits still on the team Three 4* recruits still on the team Two 5* still on the team That's some lazy fucking recruiting if I've ever seen it. TEN 3*??????????? We should have TEN 4* AT THE VERY LEAST! Flood is a liability, a shitty recruiter, and a shitty teacher. It's beyond time for Sark to give his buddy the pink slip and actually go get someone who can recruit and develop. Easier said than done, but FFS we're Texas. We should never be in this position. This group is grim to look at. I almost can't stomach it or process it.
  21. Terry has the size, toughness, and speed to be a force of nature in the back field. We cannot keep using Wisner and expect to go anywhere north of 7 wins. He played RB in HS, and this is a good way to keep him motivated. I look forward to him pounding Kentucky's DL, because Wisner isn't.
  22. Playing Mateer after surgery 17 days prior I will never understand. I hoped they would, but I also said if they want to win some games, they might as well let him heal and just accept defeat from us again. But nope.
