  1. I was just saying if we're lucky and the gods come together to make Beamer unretarded for a game, maybe they pull an upset. Unlikely, of course, but we've seen App St take beat them with inferior talent. Will that happen again? I dunno, but it not out of the realm of possibilities, which is why I'm glad CFB isn't in a vacuum. It's also not like USCe is deplete of talent, they're just...spread out. A lot. But Mizzou is beating them. They have no one that can stop Hardy, and their pass defense can only be described as not long for this world. LSU being gutted by a guy who is collecting SSI is hardly surprising, but Reed isn't even in the same stratosphere as Pavia athletically. Aggy o-line is overrated. Their win against ND isn't anything special, and they beat Auburn by what, 6 points? At minimum they're limping into Austin with 2 losses.
  2. It all just runs together at this point
  3. Good lort. Pavia absolutely gashing LSU's defense. Really solid sell and score.
  4. We do this every year, man. Aggy isn't going to be undefeated when they roll into Austin. Seriously, that's dumb. It's knee-jerk shit and we all know it.
  5. I was (still am) disappointed that Simmons only has 4 sacks, but then I went and looked and his equal, Dylan Stewart, and he only has 3.5. Weird slump for both. Although I expect PK will let Simmons loose, as well as Spence and Hill. We have multiple guys with sacks, but Simmons has 4 and Spence has 2.
  6. Nah. Mizzou will beat them, and LSU also at home will beat them. If we're lucky USCe will pull and upset while at home to make them with 3 straight losses headed I to our game where we beat them for their fouth, which will continue their 8&4 mean.
  7. Damn. Nice TD If Kelly gets fired, I wonder (more hope, actually) if Sark goes after Harlem Berry?
  8. Which both good and bad. I want LSU to keep Kelly, but I also want LSU to lose to Vandy and beat Aggy.
  9. Yep. They went from top 10 to...whatever the fuck this is. It's not really surprising, tho. Pavia is a dude. Reed, not so much. I can see this same defense abuse aggy like we did last year. Pavia is a magician, and they have two TE's that are really good in Stowers and Spence.
  10. Yeah, no way. Their talent level is good, not great. No way they can make it through four opponents who either have the same talent or much better, and depth. Miami looks to lack true depth.
  11. Miami is such a fraud. I don't care what anyone else believes. If it weren't Cristobal as HC, I might take them more seriously.
  12. Last year we had no idea what we were getting into. We know what he can and cannot do now. I'm not saying he won't lead them to a score or two, but out defense will contain him. Not shut him down, but contain.
  13. We will beat Vandy, IDGAF. Pavia is great for a 32-year old, but we have much, much better athletes on defense, a tremendous DC, and Kanu will make Pavia's day very bad. Kanu has just come out of nowhere and plays with his ass on fire.
  14. Fucking great movie, and great pick.
  15. Did you miss where I said couldn't care less if Portnoy slit his wrists? He's as useless as an empty xanax bottle. And you're right, it is working, so kudos to them. It's just my own personal opinion and preference. I think ratings are just people who turn on ESPN for background noise. I like their stories they have on players, and I like Herbie and Fowler. Howard is a moron. McAfee is annoying, but if you like him, cool. Nothing wrong with that. I grew up with it like most everyone else, so it's nostalgic and it will always have a place in my black heart. I just don't like a few of their panelist. The shows are for two entirely different demographics. For talking football, I love Big Noon, and Klatt + Johnson are really likeable and knowledgeable. Same with Leinart and Quinn. Ingram is slightly smarter than Howard. That's just me. For night games, it's clearly Herbie and Fowler, whom I personally like a lot.
  16. I had to look up his real name. I kept getting "The Bear" Fallica and Standford Steve mixed up. He sucks for sure. He adds nothing. It feels like ESPN is hiring the most inexpensive "talent" possible and trying to pass it off as respectable. It's not working.
  17. I think we can contain him. Part of it is optimistic, but the other part is we have PK and the athletes. LSU isn't built for his athleticism. That's not to say they can't get him under control, or that he won't score on us, just that we know what we're getting with him.
  18. Saw this yesterday and wondered how much of a chance we actually have. Would love to add them to the class.
  19. Well I'm happy for they/them/her
  20. I love their thought process of "errrbody" every year. Yes, they will have a top 10 class with some dudes. No, they won't get everyone they think they will. They will still be behind us. All in all it doesn't matter because they could have the 2000 Ravens and would still end up in the Cheez-It bowl.
  21. Let them believe. It's better this way.
  22. Isn't that Fallica? If so, he's 1 donut away from having a diabetic coma on screen.
  23. How many of you gangsters from this forum are at the game? I thought about going, but backed out. Now I wish I would have done it. Oh boy, now I get to go to Starksville instead! Yay!
  24. Damn, son. GT ST doing work. We should hire their guy and send Banks packing. The money can stay. Hey, i said that before the games began. These are getting it done so far.
