How do you go from making the CWS last season to actually sucking? Oh right, because it's a coaching issue, not a talent issue. LSU is dog shit because Johnson is an above average coach. 2025 is an anomaly, but 2023 is legit. Always recruiting top-1-10 classes, misses the CWS at a 65% clip in 12 seasons as HC with a win % of (.641) at two different blue blood programs. Van Horn is, well...I don't care. He's been there for 24 seasons, and this is the product, while in 6 seasons, Johnson isn't just failing backwards—he's proving you can inherit every advantage and still regress. Meanwhile...We have a coach who can actually, you know, understands how to build a team with lack of infrastructure, resources, not a single recruiting class above top-15, along with fan apathy and zero history...and still make the CWS finals as runner-up in three seasons. Now that he's at a blue blood with all the resources he needs, he's magically recruiting two #1 classes back to back, with #2 for 2027. Not to mention the #3 transfer portal class. In 23 seasons his win % is (.681) with 1005 wins. That's not dominance, that's the difference between a physicist and learning to count using your fingers. Schloss > Johnson Give a man who built a society with nothing but mud and clay new tools, and he'll build you a city; give a man who inherited the city the same tools, and he’ll forget how cities are built.

Yeah I saw that about Skubal talking to Detroit about staying. Like, do you want to see what it's like to win with great players around you, or go back and practice with Detroit? Although to be fair, they did turn it around last season towards the end to get a Wild Card, but still. Right now, this is the biggest stage he'll be on.

GA TECH losing to Virginia Tech 9-6 top of the 7th Tulane beat TCU 8-4 (I believe they play again today) Miami losing to Boston College 8-5 top of the 9th Arky getting beat by Stetson 4-1 top of the 9th Coastal lost to ECU Wright St beat Tenn UTSA lost to NMSU Right now, if we can't win this conference with most of these teams shitting themselves,I don't know what to say.
