  1. Yeah—you’re not allowed to throw your helmet.
  2. I can’t even argue with that. I really don’t know what Brown was doing.
  3. Flipping to the Rangers. Oh, hey—they’re up 5-1.
  4. Catcher was just telling his pitcher “yeah—you got away with one.”

  6. Here's some nightmare fuel for those who fear the evil Nazi dead: I don't know what's creepier: the skull still wearing his Stahlhelm, or the fact that people have been drinking water from the reservoir for 70 years.
  7. Last time I was there, the readers were not set up for that. But it's been a few years, so things may have changed.
  8. He's absolutely killing it these days. I don't know why you have to gender it. Personifesto, please.
  9. There's is no chance that's not a parody. "Our undefeated Russian Navy" against a visual of the Moskva? No--that's where it lost me.
  10. Christ almighty—now Ricky Williams is going to run for 300 yards [/aggy]
  11. This is a real fucking problem. The level of commerce that 95 handles between DC and NYC is enormous. We need to get this fixed quickly.
  12. Fun fact: one cannot resign from Parliament. He has to be appointed by the King to some ancient and ridiculous position like the Lord Steward of the Northumbrian Quiznos that would render him ineligible to hold a seat in the Commons.
  13. I'm sorry--are we just all going to ignore the facial and obvious conflict of interest? You can't work for the OAG (in which your only client is the State) and one day decide "ok, I'm going to take a 'leave of absence' from the OAG (whatever the fuck that is) and threaten litigation against the State." Someone is filing a grievance with the Bar against these assholes, right?
  14. It's one of the best trips I've ever had. As you glide up the river, you see farmers along the shore tending crops in exactly the same way they've done since the pharaohs. The plots are generally too small to have heavily mechanized agriculture. So they're out there plowing the fields with oxen and sowing by hand. It was just amazing. Feel free to PM me for any tips.
  15. At this stage of the war, I think it's more analogous to the Hundred Days Offensive in 1918. You've got the side on the offensive that is newly bolstered with American equipment, but has a lot of inexperienced troops. And they're against a side that is well dug-in, but is lacking critical materiel and has pretty lousy morale. But any analogy to a conflict from the last century is going to be very imprecise. So it's probably best just to stay away from them.
  16. The warrant for Paxton can’t be far behind.
  17. What a fucking day! We wake up to news that Pat Robertson is dead. And then the Supreme Court told us that the VRA is actually still a thing. Then we get to see a Russian get eaten by a fucking shark (which was really fucking metal, BTW). And now an indictment? Christ almighty, at this rate I half expect to get a blowjob tonight.
  18. Well that's something new for me to be terrified of.
  19. Silversea, Regent Seven Seas, Celebrity, and Seabourn are all very nice.
  20. Oh, fuck. I can't believe I missed that. I thought the windows were slanted. But I now see it's a perspective thing. Regardless--safe travels.
  21. I know the Terminal D AAdmirals Club when I see it.
  22. For no particular reason, I am reminded of the quote by King Edward I: "expelling a turd is always good business."
