  1. I could bench 290 in high school, so basically the same.
  2. Shit. I hate switching channels and it screws up the recording.
  3. Man, the Marquette History Department must suck. Hancock was not present at the Constitutional Convention and Jefferson was the Minister to France at the time. Plus, neither appear in Christy's painting Scene at the Signing of the Constitution of the United States. (It is odd that they only used half of the room back then--I'm not sure when that custom changed.)
  4. All this complaining about DL as if we don't have the third Coleman in our back pocket. If walk-ons can play safety, they can play DL, right? Right?
  5. Back in the day, they had a great basketball program for their size. Edit: I forgot how great: 10 state championships, including 7 straight from 1978-1984.
  6. That may be your take, but I and others see it as he wants to focus on football and doesn't want to deal with the public side of being a head coach. The fact that he has the self-awareness to understand his strengths and weaknesses likely makes him a better leader.
  7. Am I the only one on here that took the GRE? None of these words are that crazy and all should be well within the vocabulary of anyone who took some liberal arts classes at UT. If I start seeing words like prolix or minatory on here, my asperity will diminish.
  8. I'm 6'2" and 245. I'm wondering why two stick people are fighting.
  9. I should hope that the era of courtesy starts is over. You bleed for the team, great, you have our thanks. But that should not get you playing time if someone else is better.
  10. I assume this is just for football, right? Where their girlfriend just transferred to and what kind of scholarship she has.
  11. Not surprisingly, New Zealand advances and the US will play for bronze.
  12. See, it'll all work out on the DL. Orogbo adding 80-100 lbs of muscle and whup-ass makes the DT room look a lot better.
  13. Come on, man. Kwiatkowski has been one of the great defensive minds in college football for 10+ years. He's not going to forget how to coach just because some high schoolers don't pick his school. One of his calling cards is finding the strength of teams from year to year and making that the emphasis. This season, the DTs will obviously not be as dominant as last year's, but I suspect the overall defensive metrics stay about the same or improve slightly. Now, we sure need high-end DT talent coming into the program every year. Sark needs to fix this before it becomes a chronic issue that prevents Kwiatkowski and the defensive staff from becoming predictable, one-dimensional, and unable to do some of the things they'd like to do.
  14. It will be good to have a full-time on-the-field coach for kicking and punting.
  15. There's another option--and that's to neg you.
  16. Should help DB recruiting tremendously. Hey, come practice every day against the best with NFL talents throwing the ball. There's no place you can be tested and get better. "Should" help.
