  1. Unfortunately I'm unable to vouch personally for TheLastRefuge2. Validation from a more reliable source would be nice.
  2. That looks like Stalin's head on Freddy's body.
  3. DACA is short for Doctors we All Care About. Try to keep up.
  4. It was replaced by a deregulated militia dispatched by Tweet
  5. Trump could shoot RBG in the middle of 5th Avenue and it wouldn't matter. Susan Collins might be concerned, that's it.
  6. IANAD either and can only speak from experience. My dad was dead within a week of being diagnosed with liver and pancreatic cancer in 1992. Obviously the cases differ - treatments improved in the last 28 years and my dad was not a SC Justice with the best medical care available. Still, this news makes me nauseous. Hang in there Ruthie.
  7. I'll be biding my time until the virus is voted out in November. A little concerned about covid too, but that's for another thread.
  8. I miss Mitch, and I don't mean McConnell. Would love the chance to miss him too though.
  9. Perhaps you will be proven right once we have the gift of retrospection. Until then I have a finite number of fucks to give, and honorable public servants making errors in good faith won't earn many of them.
  10. What is it that you suggest Fauci do? Going scorched earth (AKA the speaking unvarnished truth) about Covid and Trump will be his last move, at least in Fauci's current position of influence. He sees many more deaths ahead as well as Trump's madness with the nation trailing in tow. How and when can he act to serve the maximum benefit to the people? What can he do to save the most lives? Tough questions to answer prospectively for anyone.
  11. More like an Indifferent to Death Cult amirite? The death isn't really the point, it's an insignificant byproduct of the constant triage needed to boost Trump at all costs. Some eggs are bound to be broken.
  12. Fauci simultaneously going hard and playing dumb on Navarro's op ed. CNN
  13. Nah. It's really hard to stand out as one of the absolute dumbest, total shit for brains posters on this site. While many considered him a candidate already, with that post he has enshrined himself in that pantheon forever. He should be proud. He's in rare air. Still surprised. Perhaps I'm misremembering but I thought MiB was a decent poster back in the day. Judging by more recent posts, that day seems to have come and gone.
  14. And yet he's still a better man than many, including posters here.
  15. I fundamentally distrust this admin's capacity and willingness to see the pandemic through anything other than a political prism. Does shifting to HHS from CDC truly benefit the American people? Possibly - but you can be sure that it is intended to benefit Trump. I would like to know more about this:
  16. If this happens, Texas GOP would just crow about successfully reducing class sizes.
  17. Not until we flesh out California billionaires' Mexican food preferences.
  18. In defense of stupid, common sense is the enemy of this administration and has been undermined at every turn. We'll never know the outcome had there been clear, consistent messaging across state, local and federal government because that road was not taken. The dirt path of least resistance to Trump was. (I assume it's dirt anyway, because you'd need good intentions to pave it)
  19. Even more shocking that Tucker Carlson has writers.
  20. I posit that Lou Dobbs' voluntary viewers are exclusively unhappy people. The unhappy are drawn to him and the happy sour soon after looking at his caustic mug. A perfect fit for the party of Grievances.
  21. GOP has managed to get into a staring contest with a virus that doesn't blink. Abott's now wrestling with the difficult decision whether to save lives in Texas or not anger Trump and his army of deplorables. T&Ps.
  22. What the article conveniently omits is that Obama wore a tan suit.
