  1. If memory serves, don't they have a pebble "beach" as well?
  2. Maybe the hall of champions will get new Elkitecture.
  3. OK you assholes. Since we are entering the home stretch until game release, I figured I would put together a list of fun dynasty teams to play with. The ones I have seen online and in videos are mostly dumb and lack imagination. G5/Indy Schools Texas State - Tx State is a prime target due to it's profile. Lower level G5 team, on the rise a bit under Kinne, but situated in a great recruiting area. I had not thought of this until now, but Texas State is within 250 miles of 6 P4 schools and a top level G5 school - Texas, A&M, Baylor, TCU, SMU, Houston, and UTSA. That makes for really fun recruiting battles, plus they have unique uniforms and a cool small stadium. UTSA - A bit of an easier road than Texas State, but not by much. It would be fun to see UTSA climb the conference ladder into a P4 school. FIU - Situated right down the road from Miami, they have been a bit up and down. They also have to contend with Florida, Florida State, Miami, and UCF as P4 schools in their own state but should be in one of the best local talent locations in the game in Miami-Dade. The Military Schools - Army/Navy/Airforce all have similar profiles and fun option offenses, but unlike their true life counterparts, they can access the transfer portal to rebuild their rosters. San Diego State - I have always loved their uniforms, they are in SoCal recruiting area, and they generally have decent talent for a G5. UNLV - The GoGo offense will be on display in the game, and that will make for some really fun games and plays to run. App State - Hands down one of the coolest football fields in America, plus it would be fun to build up more of a smashmouth team from a G5 level. Kennesaw State - Bottom Dweller FBS new entrant with nothing going for it. Buffalo - Because who doesn't like playing football in 3 feet of snow. Oregon State - The rabid beaver revenge tour starts here. Plus it is right down the road from Oregon and Washington and scheduling should be fun. P4 Schools Arizona State - Perpetual under performer with awesome uniforms, a great location for recruiting, and a steady flow of 5 star CoEds to get caught up in multiple scandals and find yourself passed out naked on a sorority pool table. Minnesota - Decent B1G school that could quickly upset the balance of traditional powers while feasting your eyes on husky pasty female fans between plays. Indiana - You could maybe recruit a good enough football player to have the poster of Larry Bird taken down out of the football stadium. Vandy - It will be fun to drop the construction crane through the visiting locker room at halftime. Rutgers - Just to remind people that they do in fact play football in New Jersey. Maryland - Why they have never been better than they are is a mystery to me. You would have to endure helmets that look like they are self immolating while on hallucinogens, but otherwise could easily be built into a powerhouse.
  4. I guess people haven't really figured out the new recruiting calendar for Sark and crew. June is the big month, and particularly late June, followed by a handful of highly rated guys and national recruits trickling in throughout the fall. Sark is patient early and doesn't push for commits before the summer. Guys who do actually commit very early don't always have the greatest track record of sticking around. If we go through June/July and don't see a significant upswing in commits, then it would be time to panic. My guess we will be at 15-18 commits coming out of July while we fight for the big fish to top off the class.
  5. They are going to start a Bed & Breakfast called Snow and Sweat. GP provides the live music and Chryst makes skyline chili.
  6. It's always those damn 1 percenters. I think they should protest.
  7. In fairness it couldn't have been more different. Aggy joined the sec on its knees giving blowjobs and taking trains out of gratitude to be there. Texas joins the SEC as a peer to the big boys in the room.
  8. Orrrr they could just be placating you knowing that your very existence hinges on people thinking your school is as good or better than mean ole "tu".
  9. There is no viable solution for bowl games in this era of CFB. The NCAA would be better off doing multiple playoff tiers. Most bowls don't make enough money for any NIL incentives, let alone enough to get the top players to play instead of opting out. If you had a 16 team playoff and then a G5 16 team playoff, not only would it make more money, it would keep all of the top players opted in for the games. Then you could take a few of the top bowls and have them host a best of the rest type of setup. 6 win teams should not have post seasons.
  10. Calling it right now, but I think Santana Wilson is going to be a fall camp surprise.
  11. They are never as bad as we think they will be and never as good as they think they will be. 7 wins is my guess.
  12. The longer they get from their visit, the better the outcome. Zion already having a commitment date is a bit of a concern, but he may have set that regardless since it will be after his OVs.
  13. Davis is arguably the hottest DL coach in the country right now coming off of last season. It is understandable that he has recruits attention, but I think his shine will wear off a bit after this upcoming season where he has jack shit to work with.
  14. Well, considering that you will likely get a minimum of 2 qualifiers for the CFP, and likely 3 or even 4 this season, that would take the total to 10-11 spots for 18 teams. Then you look around and see what is left and I don't think anyone is going to cry over not seeing 5-7 Rutgers, Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue, Maryland, Illinois, etc. in a bowl.
  15. Finebaum's reaction.. lol. That needs to be a gif for all eternity.
