Watching him just blow past some of the competition this year as a kick returner and receiver, it is pretty eye opening. I never really looked into him much because I figured he was going baseball or to Oklahoma for a long time. His athleticism for his size is elite.
Eh, if he would just turn down his raging asshole dial by about 50% he would be a quality P4 coach. That, and not have his family jumping out of planes.
What a complete buffoon. He moves Ole Miss over us because they curb stomped Furman, then he keeps aggy ahead of us because of absolute wishcasting, and then he drops us because we beat a bad opponent (I guess Furman dominates Colorado State on a neutral field?). We need a new Looch 44, it may as well be this guy.
I am finding that the surest tackle in the game is by hitting down on the truck stick when you are near the ball carrier. The tackler goes down and cuts their legs out from under them and stops them in their tracks every time. Doesn't matter if you are Ollie Gordon or some 3rd string scrub from Akron.
The only thing I am a bit nervous about is if we can stop the run straight up the middle. If we don't then their game plan will consist of two plays. I saw a couple of things on the DL Saturday versus Colorado State that I didn't love that I think a team like Michigan could exploit. But if we do that, then there is no reason we should lose that game.
It's not like they were running him either. QB is one of the least physically demanding positions in football in terms of cardio if you aren't a running QB. Did he just roll out of bed after an offseason in the training room and decide that today was a good day to play football?
