I guarantee we move up the list next year. The crowd just has to give a shit about the team that we are playing. The environment vs Bama and Notre Dame several years back were amazing. With Georgia, Florida, etc. coming in the crowd is going to be great next year.
I was not aware that we had ever rushed the field at Kyle. Hell, there have only been a handful of times we rushed the field at DKR. Even so, this response seems on brand. I am sure that the brave soldiers injured in the slushee melee and gashed open by flying corn dogs were adequately rewarded with the purple fart medal, which is no doubt proudly displayed next to their failure of physical and mental fitness letter from the US Army.
If the SEC were to take FSU and Clemson, I think it would be for defensive purposes. They aren't really additive in terms of territory and they aren't going to move the needle all that much on the TV contract. I think FSU is vastly overvaluing itself right now. I could see a world where the SEC and B1G tells them to take a hike and they end up in the B12 if the TV partners don't want to play ball. But in reality, I know that they likely aren't trying this hard to break this contract unless they have some sort of wink and nod agreement with one of the major conferences.
First of all..
Secondly, take his Hudl and then go watch it side by side with Marshall Faulk career highlights. You will see a similar running style with elusiveness and vision in the hole. Nice jump cut and acceleration to the second level and a very natural pass catcher. He isn't a burner, but he also doesn't act like he thinks he is. He is rarely going east west.
Chris Jackson’s recruiting was pretty slow getting started last year as well, with a bunch of the recruitments drawing out into the season, or losing guys at this time of year. Now he seems to have shit rolling. My hope is that Baker has a similar trajectory and we can find some success later in the cycle with either a flip or a clear difference maker.
