  1. Honestly, as talented as Nolan is, I just really don't want to deal with his dad if he were to actually come here. We have lived through Casey Thompson's dad getting Brian Jones to run with "Sark is a racist" on national television because he wasn't getting his way.
  2. I am still struggling to differentiate a middle aged sportscaster with a 5 star WR from St. Louis. Nothing is coming easy today.
  3. It would seem to be Nolen, Makuba, or maybe Overton. Even with Makuba I don't see the need for secrecy.
  4. If it makes you feel any better, it was likely the NIL they had set aside for Ryan Wingo until we won that recruitment.
  5. It will be good for some lulz when they fire Joey next year. But apparently not until after he ruins Brooks' pro career by running him into the ground.
  6. I believe that was Luicci himself if I am not mistaken. They probably had Hamm locked in the trunk so he wouldn't do a midnight breaking and entering.
  7. They should just let Coley do it since he is the OC for the game anyway. Will they? Nah.
  8. No surprise, but Edgerrin Cooper officially declared for the draft https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39098084/texas-lb-edgerrin-cooper-declares-nfl-draft
  9. I didn't see it posted, but Edgerin Cooper has officially declared for the draft https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39098084/texas-lb-edgerrin-cooper-declares-nfl-draft
  10. That's a solid hire, definitely better than the Bennie Wylie's of the world.
  11. I hear Valdosta State needs a fansite.
  12. In my experience in games like this, the first half will likely be a defensive battle. The announcers will say something dumb going into halftime like "We were expecting a shootout, but these defenses had other ideas.." Then, the party starts in the second half once both teams make adjustments and they both still end up over 30 points.
  13. Username suggests it was you simple jack.
  14. Yeah, this is absurd. One of three things is happening: 1. Tyanthony is bilking the rubes out of panic "don't visit Texas" money. In which case... bravo. 2. He is not talking to recruiting people at all and they are having to piece shit together through sources who also don't know shit. 3. He wants to keep things super under wraps to avoid all of the blowback he would get if he flipped.
  15. Mentioning Gerry Hamilton is a nice touch. I am sure he was one of those 52 views.
  16. They are way past doubling down on that 2022 class. At this point they are quadrupling down to somehow keep that class together, and yet more than half the class is already gone. They are so myopic in this pursuit that they have let their entire football outlook be tied to throwing irresponsible amounts of money at 20 year old kids who have figured out that they just need to threaten to look around in order to get a raise. The part that made their class unique was that defensive line and only a handful of those guys are left, the depth is gone, and they have not developed outside of a one or two guys. What remains of that class is not even close to what they need to make a run. They are going to find themselves losing 4 or 5 games again next season and then seeing another chunk of those guys hit the draft as fast as they can. And where will they be drafted? I would venture that maybe only one guy is a first rounder at best.
  17. Sounds like Nahlin is already missing Gerry.
  18. That would be some serious german U boat level shit. It sounds like aggy is completely unraveling.
  19. S'vondre Tweat should be in the heisman running next year. Total game changer.
  20. He may flip just because he doesnt want to sit a year behind a proven starter? Welcome to real life kid.
  21. Imagine bothering to do digital forensics on a benign recruiting photo. Such a sad existence.
  22. They ran away from us only to run face to ass into the greatest dynasty of all time and another perennial power who won a NC within their own division, and a resurgent Georgia who has won 2 NCs since they have joined the SEC (just in case they ever made it out of the west). They took the governors off of their bag scheme, poured Billions into their athletics program, tried to outright buy a championship, had 13 years of saying they were the only SEC school in Texas, and managed to finish no higher than third in their own division if you remove the Covid year. Now they have all of that to deal with, plus two of the top 5 winningest programs in CFB history coming right in the middle of their prized recruiting territory. At this point they are Mississippi State with way more money.
  23. 247 is dumb. No way he does that in 9 days.
