  1. Bo got through compliance, so I dont think that would be an issue. I dont think it is particularly likely anyway
  2. I hope this doesnt effect Collins decision to stay..
  3. I was joking, but he coached LB in 2011 and DL in 2012-2013 for OSU..
  4. You are thinking too small. Vrabel just got fired from the Titans..
  5. Hell of a question, but he did develop well at Baylor. He had to recruit there. He has NFL experience. I doubt Sark goes in that direction, but he came to mind.
  6. Funny, I thought of Frank Okam. Was DT coach under Matt Rhule at Baylor and Carolina. 1 year at Raiders and now Toledo..
  7. For you I will do it.. CSU- 0.9 @ Michigan- 0.5 UTSA- 0.9 ULM- 0.95 MSU- 0.85 OU- 0.65 UGA- 0.4 @Vandy- 0.85 Florida- 0.7 @ Ark- 0.7 UK- 0.75 @ A&M- .65 Texas favored in 10 of 12 games. That gets you to 8.8, so call it 9 and 3 expected. That is just off the cuff with 0 work put into it.
  8. I have never heard of the 5 yard rule. I know the NFL calls it "close-line" play. I do know that you dont have a 10 yard area from sideline to sideline surrounding the LOS to block in the back. Other exceptions being loose ball, player turns. I dont know why I am blanking on that Watts play.
  9. if you are talkign about the Watts play that was below the waste, not in the back.
  10. It is a BS stat that said the 1st team not to allow an opponent to score 25 points in 15 games. I am ashamed you fell for that, since 1997 Michigan never gave up 25 pts. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1997_Michigan_Wolverines_football_team https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991_Washington_Huskies_football_team https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981_Clemson_Tigers_football_team https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_Alabama_Crimson_Tide_football_team https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Alabama_Crimson_Tide_football_team
  11. I have not done it, because it is way too early, but if you assign a percentage to each game. I would bet you come up with a win total in the 8.5-9.5 area. As fans we tend to see a game that Texas is a 3 pts favorite in and mark it down as a win..
  12. Yes, he beat him inside and then just fell down on his own. Nothing to do with the reach with the left arm arm and the push in the back from the right.
  13. You mean the one where he had the front of the jersey and clubbed the DE in the back to avoid Penix taking a sack? I believe that was the one Herbie was yammering about and the former official told Herbie he is an idiot.
  14. 11 wins is the ceiling for the regular season and that is generous.
  15. That is a Michigan tradition dating back to Bo Schembechler. They tend ot be conservative and keep games tighter, than they need to be..
  16. Odd response. I do not see Texas bringing in Mukuba to sit on the bench. He is going to start at NB or Safety. Who do you think starts in the secondary, if Barron comes back?
  17. I didnt watch much Arizona football this year, I know Nansen runs a 4-2-5 base. That is about it. Does anyone have a clue about how he runs his defense?
  18. Like I said, we have 0 idea of the adjustments that Sark allows or the team works on. I am just confused to why Mitchell opens to the inside with the DB playing inside leverage. Quite honestly we do not know what kind of break the DB will make. He was to the spot before AD. For this to be a TD, Ewers had to hit Mitchell on the outside shoulder with a frozen rope on the turn. That is something the Mahommes and Kelce probably would do, because of their connection and years of familiarity. I am sure Sark knows, but he is never going to tell us. I would love to hear it though
  19. Mitchell is not going to get to the pylon, if Quinn throws it with heat. He was late on the softball. AD turns inside, not outside on his "break". Mitchell seems to be running a sloppy curl/stop route (perhaps an adjustment to the Db) and Quinn is throwing a fade.
  20. Texas does not run a lot of fades, so that in itself may have been an issue. I am not sure how flexible Sark is on adjustments. Without knowing that this is all mental masturbation.
  21. All I will say about that last play is it looked off. I am not sure if Mitchell was expecting the pass, but his route was pretty strange. The ball didnt match that route. He opens to the inside and the ball is outside. Maybe it was a called fade and Mitchell adjusted on his own. I am sure Sark, Mitchell, and Ewers know who messed up, but I dont. Either way Mitchell and Ewers were not on the same page.
  22. That is great. That is Sark's railroad concept. Bijan scored multiple times on that same play at Texas
  23. Texas isn’t going to be inexperienced in the secondary next year. A lot depends on Barron’s decision, which is said to be a coin flip. Assuming he isn’t back the secondary will likely be Williams, Taffee, Makuba (NB), Brooks (CB), and Muhammad (CB)..All of them got substantial minutes. If Barron comes back that likely bumps Taffee out of starting safety spot and Mukuba likely slots in there
  24. I don’t think Washington will have the same game plan. They are not going to build a game plan around the defending the pass. They are going to see a completely different game plan. I would assume they are going to sell out on the run and try to make Michigan pass the ball
