  1. https://www.si.com/college/texas/news/texas-rb-cj-baxter-undergoes-successful-knee-surgery-01j60dh7t47tNow, according to reports from Anwar Richardson of OrangeBloods.com, Baxter underwent successful surgery to repair his LCL and ACL on Tuesday. Baxter was also originally thought to have torn his PCL, but per the report, that ligament remained intact and did not require surgery. The Surgery was performed by Dr. Daniel Cooper in Dallas. Should be good for fall camp.
  2. thanks for going next level stupid. They fit in any scheme, not any position. Dont tell Ian Boyd, but the more talent you have the less scheme matters
  3. My point was 5 stars dont need to be a scheme fit. They fit pretty much any scheme.
  4. Just my opinion, but I think Cam has a ceiling on where he can go. He appears to be RT in NFL with a chance he bumps inside. I dont see him as a franchise LT that can be left on an island to deal with some of the best athletes in the NFL. I think that caps him to the mid-1st round. I hope I am wrong, but I dont see the feet and movement skills
  5. 2025 Consensus Big Board | NFL Mock Draft Database has him consensus #30 right now
  6. I would love for him to come back, but hard to say a guy projected as late 1st round/early 2nd should stay. Injury risk of coming back outweighs the potential to move up significantly .
  7. He also got the best players in the country. Texas is now recruiting at a level that the coaches generally do not need to worry about fit, not to mention the roster is basically all Sark players now. Guys like Colin Simmons and Ant hill can play in any defensive scheme. Texas has left the desert of CFB and reached the semis 2 season in a row for a reason. It is the talent being gathered on the 40. Texas had 11 drafted last year. That number may be eclipsed this year.
  8. I think people forget what Sam did 43 starts: 923-1476, 11,436 yards, 94 Tds and 27 int. rushed 554 att, 1903 yds, 33 Tds, with 3 fumbles. That is a 127 TDs and 30 turnovers. That is 1 turnover per 67.7 touches vs a TD every 16 touches. Averaged 266 yards/game, which is more than Colt and Ewers. Averaged 3 TDs a game over his career. Managed to do all that and never missed a start his last 3 years, despite being Herman's short yardage sledge hammer
  9. People see that athleticism and deep ball. Someone usually falls in love with that and thinks they can clean up their decision making. I hope the same thing happens for Quinn. Some team sees his workout and falls in love with the raw tools and thinks they clean up his issues.
  10. You probably have to take Ward. I would certainly would not take Milroe or Ewers until the 3rd or later. Not going to go through every player, but they both were turnover machines this year with 17 a piece and probably near the top nationally (Quinn turnover/29.5 touches and Milroe turnover/28.6 touches). That doesnt bode well for the NFL.
  11. agree. The biggest issue in that regard is Quinn rarely uncorked a throw. He just prefers to feather the ball.
  12. Campbell, Moore, and Hill..
  13. Jaylon Daniels is confused by this
  14. Losing sure fire starters is not typical. Losing promising back-ups is expected pain. McDonald's late season play has me less worried about Williams, but he is still a hell of a talent and it hurts depth. Muhammad leaves a hole. Not a lot of snaps left on the 40 at CB, if he leaves.
  15. They are both probably NFL guys. That isnt good. 1 is a definite starter and the other would at a minimum be in heavy rotation.
  16. Since it is now the Kool Aid season. Arch's 87.5 QBR would have been good for #3 in the nation this year. (STFU, I know it was 2 starts)
  17. Sark has a done a really good job of bringing in smart guys on defense to keep things fresh. Gary Patterson, Nansen, Scotty Hazelton (underrated hire in my opinion) to name a few. Marion is the only guy on the offensive side I can think off the top of my head.
  18. Right now I am going Goosby, Neto, Hutson, DJ, Baker... LG/Center are going to be dependent on each other. Whatever combo between Hutson, Neto, Robertson, and Cruz Flood feels is best.
  19. No idea how that would have worked out. Anyone that says they do is full of shit.
  20. Not sure the point when you are comparing a freshmen coming off the bench for a 3 year starter. There should be a wide gap based on experience. If they played the same you would think the freshmen would improve at a greater level as this is the 1st time he is seeing an excellent defense.
  21. Arch looked the same as Quinn did in that 1st half. Guessing you are blocking out how Quinn looked for the 1st 1.7 quarters
  22. separate, but definitely integral to the run game.
  23. He needs to go. This is similar to Jonathan Brooks leaving last year. Last year's RB class was really weak. This years is ridiculously deep. Was a good decision to leave. Quinn needs to leave given how weak the QB class is considered.
  24. Beck, Swaim, and Bluiett were all good, but that is going back to 2018 and longer. Would be nice if Spencer Shannon or Jordan Washington could provide some solid blocking. I highly doubt Niblack will offer an upgrade
