  1. It's nice to be sitting atop the table, but there are still concerns going forward. Three goals in 3 matches; Son's goal against City is the only goal from open play, Dele's PK, and Son's set piece goal. Nuno's tactics don't allow for any midfield creativity. Skipp and PEH are not going to pick the lock of any opposing side's defense. Hopefully, this gets addressed after the international break. Maybe Gio plays more coming out of the break, and who knows what the future holds for Ndombele. Still, great to be sitting atop the table, and there definitely seems to be a different feel/culture about the club right now.
  2. Top of the table!!!
  3. COYS!!!! Sissoko in the starting XI for Watford.
  4. Ndombele officially ruled out for Sunday. Don't know if that means a transfer is possible or not.
  5. How you holding up 2 hours later?
  6. If City has £100M for Grealish, they can pay £150M for Harry. They need a striker a helluva lot more than they need another winger/attacking midfielder.
  7. Kane's Twitter says he's staying! One of our own!!!
  8. Great series. The first season was awesome! I thought they spanned too many years too quickly, going from PC (mid-80's) to the internet (mid-to late 90's) too quickly for a 4 season show. But I loved it. I grew up on mid-80's PCs and Digital Revolution stuff, so it was in my wheelhouse. Cameron and Donna were both smoke shows!
  9. Multiple sources saying Spurs are in on Traore from Wolves. Loan deal initially, about a £40M transfer when it's all said and done.
  10. I'll take it, but that match further showed how much the midfield needs to be improved. Wolves bossed possession and the midfield. Skipp and Hojbjerg just played back and helped the defense all day. No creativity, or ball movement thru the middle. Dele looked like he's on his way back for sure, but he needs help. If not for Dele's PK, I don't know where the offense would have come from with Harry on the bench. Still, great defensive effort.
  11. Sky Sports this morning is reporting that Ndombele has formally asked to leave. For all the talk this offseason about the need for a Central Defender, our midfield needs went unaddressed. Outside of Hojbjerg, we don't have a reliable midfielder. Certainly don't have a playmaking midfielder. Lo Celso, Winks, Ndombele, Sissoko, and Skipp aren't going to get it done. Dele looks like he's on the path back, but we need more. Maybe Lo Celso can give more than he's shown so far, but we really need more. I don't know what they can do about Ndombele, but with less than 2 weeks left, they better do it quick.
  12. This has been a tough watch
  13. Last time I went in there (pre-pandemic) the health inspector was at a table writing up a report on them. Haven't been back. Better when it was Pop's burger.
  14. Ndombele and Aurier left off the Europa Conference League roster for the qualifiers. Speculation that both might be gone before the transfer window closes. https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/players/tanguy-ndombele-tottenham-decision-nuno-21319708 No way Ndombele with his fitness levels could have handled yesterday's match. Too much energy and pace for him. This is his 4th manager at Spurs and all of them have had fitness issues with him. NES and Paratici might have decided to cut their losses. Aurier for sure needs to leave.
  15. Watch the replay. The energy was unreal. Spurs played with a real purpose and looked like they actually had a game plan.
  16. Where is Captain Ron? I hope he saw it. Fuck, that was a fun match!
  17. Fuck off Grealish. Fuck Oilchester. Fuck off Pep. Tanganga fucking rocks! He better be MOTM!
  18. Tangana looking good too.
  19. No Kane today. Ndombele is out too with "Overload", whatever the fuck that means.
