  1. Great set piece! Toby!
  2. Sonny! What a pass by Kane!
  3. Like Jose.. He may be an asshole but he's our asshole. We need an asshole, or even a bastard. Someone with an edge.
  4. I’d be perfectly fine with Ramos.
  5. Today’s match postponed due to Fulham’s COVID outbreak.
  6. I’ve seen the Ramos rumors. Even at 34, he’s an interesting pick up. Hadn’t seen the Eriksen one. I’d heard €12-17M to Arsenal, PSG, or United. Can’t see him going anywhere for $30M. I’d love to have him back. Don’t know that he’s be a good fit in Jose’s system, but his creativity and set pieces are desperately needed right now. Would love Mckinnie. That’s probably asking too much. Also read where Spurs are most likely not going to spend in January. I can see that after the summer spending. Bale injured in training again as well.
  7. Agree that Jose is the biggest culprit here. His style of play is boring as fuck. After that first goal, you just knew it was going to be 88 minutes of sitting back and defending, waiting on a counter attack. I can understand those tactics, to some extent, against better teams, but not against Palace and Wolverhampton. With City and United both having a match in hand on Spurs, it's going to be a dogfight for Champions League qualification. Europa might be an easier path, a la United in Jose's 2016-17 season.
  8. I don't know. Is Ndombele out there now? Again, he didn't finish the match, and aside from the goal in the opening minutes where he was in the right place at the right time off a set piece and a good pass from Davies, did he create anything of substance today? He had the one counter where he passed to Reguilon and probably should have sent it to Kane, but not much outside of that. Granted, part of that is Jose's tactics. How about the rest of that post? Was Gio named in the squad today? No. He was.......injured! I know, I'm shocked too. Title talk can stop today after dropping those points.
  9. Currently 8th on GD. Win tomorrow and we go to third. Need to win tomorrow.
  10. Gio out with an injury during the festive period as well.
  11. Rumors that Eriksen has been offered to Arsenal for a cut rate price. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen, and with Poch going to PSG, maybe they’ll go get Eriksen. If Dele gets loaned out to PSG like the media has been reporting, Paris could definitely have a Spurs feel to them.
  12. Welcome to the party pal!
  13. No, it's not reactionary. It's 18 months of watching them at the club. Ndombele keeps the ball at his feet way too long, and can't press the attack. He's had 18 months to adjust to the EPL and to work on his fitness. He's hasn't accomplished either. Add to that that he's often injured, and it makes very little sense to keep hoping that it will click for him. Lo Celso is often injured as well. Unless it's a lower tier competition like Carabao, or Europa, he's not making the necessary impact a creative mid-fielder should make for a top 6 club in the EPL. Levy needs to find an attacking mid-fielder in the transfer market.
  14. Ndombele might as well be sold. He's only effective when he has possession of the ball, he can't get the ball and immediately make a pass to press the attack, he's never fit, and he's often disgruntled. Time to move on. Lo Celso might need to move on as well. He's often hurt, and most of his success at the club has come in the Europa league against inferior competition. Spurs really need to find an attacking mid-fielder and a creative play-making mid-fielder in the mold of Eriksen.
  15. They're lost on attack. Every cross, every pass is hopeful. Nothing done with any purpose or forethought. The attacking game plan is strictly counter attack after sitting back and defending. This isn't sustainable for the remainder of the campaign.
  16. I thought the same thing.
  17. That was awful. Reminds me of the Amazon series when Mourinho was talking about Aurier and said he couldn't play him because he's scared he'd give away a penalty every game.
  18. Tie Fighter and Defender of the Empire are my all time favorite video games. Loved the Empire point of view, and loved the Imperial fighters. Especially the tie defender. Nothing like taking out Star Destroyers!
  19. I didn't see where they mentioned the passing of Jeremy Bulloch in the credits or post credits. Surprised they didn't mention that given Boba's involvement over the past few weeks. Something like a "In Memory of...".
