  1. I wish Sark would implement some of the simple concepts Bobo is using tonight. Put linebackers in conflict, give the QB a couple of easy throw options, plus the option to run.
  2. We have yet to cover the back or TE that leaks into the flats when Stockton rolls out or pretends like he’s going to run. Assignment football and Kirby and Bobo went to it over and over tonight.
  3. So diving into an opponent’s legs is legal this year? Happened twice already.
  4. Yup. And 4th and 19 from the 1 yard line.
  5. We looked like a really good team for most of this game.
  6. Really though, who cares about the refs there? We have to learn how to finish teams. Should have buried these guys 10ft under the earth already.
  7. Spence on that 2nd down play was so good. Open field. Kept his feet. Beautiful.
  8. Amazing what just a little pass protection and a smidge of run game can mean for an offense. Breath of fresh air. More of that please.
  9. Sark is kind of a wizard at killing momentum
  10. Is turning back to the football not coached any more?
  11. It’s sad how I envy even mediocre offenses when I watch other games
  12. I’m not 100% on what I think about the situation . . . but how bad would he need to be to let him sit? I guess if he had more turnovers?
  13. Sark’s offseason was a complete failure. And I like the guy.
  14. You can only make a defense trot out there so many times before they give out.
  15. I know we didn’t light up up the scoreboard in the second half, but what a breath of fresh air to see the guys execute and not do stupid stuff in critical moments. Hopefully this will catapult us forward a bit.
  16. Two 3rd and long conversions on that drive. Things are looking up.
  17. Guys, we just converted a 3rd and long! What?
  18. So much this. His offenses seem to be getting worse and worse. Read the writing on the wall.
  19. So far, there is one team on the field today that looks buttoned up and pays attention to detail . . . which is especially crucial in tight games.
  20. Our poor defenses the last 2-1/2 seasons have been so solid but seem like they are always on the field.
  21. Sark not designing a run game that includes the QB to keep defenses honest is just malpractice, especially with a kid that can scoot.
  22. Just kinda hoped he’d learn from experience and get better . . . pain is supposed to be a good teacher. Intelligent people keep learning. Nobody expected us to give up 29 today, while 21 or 24 was probably about what we thought we’d score. Florida executed enough simple concepts today and their athletes made enough plays to somehow score on five drives. Something that has only happened against Texas a few times in 2-1/2 seasons.
