  1. If you don't like, move on down the line.
  2. No posts here today? Dammit, I was hoping for some beer suggestions for the weekend.
  3. At first I thought the guy in the foreground with the stick in his hand was looking at his phone.
  4. The Smurfs didn't air in the U.S. until 1981. Also, those are Dukes of Hazzard costumes, not Evel Knievel.
  5. Yep. Classic corporate bullshit behavior. I once worked for a large company that was constantly firing people for petty mistakes because upper management said "it kept employees on their toes." Everyone was afraid for their jobs. Then management would talk about how great their culture was.
  6. Given the work emails I have received over the year, I'm inclined to believe that this is real. There are always those corporate employees who are the masters of the obvious. They point out dumb shit like this as if it's some great insight. In meetings, they talk a lot and begin their statements with idiocy like "This issue is more complicated than it appears on the surface..." while other dumbfucks nod their heads in agreement. From what I can tell, the author of the email is this guy: https://www.linkedin.com/in/wayne-pankratz-95726351 The CC dude could be this guy who works for a franchise group that owns Applebee's restaurants: https://www.linkedin.com/in/thom-waye-b431a368 He probably has other email addresses (common for someone in that position) and "Thom Bees" is the name Wayne gave that email account; "Bees" meaning it's his Applebee's email address. Although I could be wrong.
  7. Well, then meet the 1%. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9131673/desperate-rooftopper-wu-yongning-fell-to-death-livestreaming-stunt-in-bid-to-get-cash-for-wedding-and-sick-mum/
  8. It's a cow skull in front of what appears to be Billy Beer cans.
  9. Any of you fuckers try a wheat beer Miller test-marketed in a few cities (including Austin) in the '80s? It was called Dakota. Curious if it met the high standards of Surly's discriminating palate. Found this commercial:
  10. I don't think y'all are using the correct pronoun.
