  1. Still can’t connect on the long balls…too soon?
  2. We are on the Trifecta+ watch the second week in a row. Texas win, OU loss, and an A&M loss, plus an Arkansas loss.
  3. That is what I said last week before he regressed. I do agree he is improving but he’s still not trusting his reads.
  4. Not when jake majors put defensive tackle in your lap. I did not say he’s good.
  5. The game is slowing down for him.
  6. We did get a sack by DMO. You can’t change my mind.
  7. UT is leaving the Big 12. They have no incentives to help UT in this game. Also, Big 12 referees have screwed us over in the past in our games at DKR. Ie. the fumble against Okst.
  8. Alabama’s last loss to Non power 5 was to ULM in 2007. We have just defeated the same War Eagles last week. Our only loss to Bama was in the 2010 national championship game. We all know how it has gone since that fateful day for both teams. The universe is realigning itself. UT 38-Alabama 35 through a Auburn field goal. Believe it.
  9. It’s a good thing that NGD means “never go deep” in Jimbo’s offense. <Ags>
  10. For a second, I thought Ethan Burke will be our starting EDGE in the first game. The guy gained weight this fast. It might lead to shrunken wingspan syndrome.
  11. You misinterpreted my post. Jimbo is operating with less resources than last year. He went all in on Hill ; thus, they only got him to commit at the pool party. Dalton Brooks was probably a hard lean/silent for months. I didn’t say that it was a brilliant plan. Jimbo is doing with the resources he has this year. Anyway, it’s only my interpretation. How else could you explain the invite list from this year vs last?
  12. Well they have meth major at OU. You could try there with Vasek.
  13. Do want. I don’t care that he might be 5 years older than Ojomo when he enrolls.
  14. They probably learn from last year’s pool party. They did pull a lot elite guys, but they also spent a lot and attracted all the attention.
  15. Of course. It’s easier to smooth things over when they are not at the same event.
  16. The main objective for the pool party was Anthony Hill, the perceived missing piece. They probably did not want Gullette, Hicks, or other elite defensive players there at the same time to drive up the bidding price on each one. Gullette was asked to come later because they thought they had created enough momentum with Hill. That’s my interpretation of the events.
  17. They went all in on Hill and only had comparable offer for Gullette. That’s my interpretation. I wonder if Hill would have gotten all that cash if Hicks was there at the pool party.
  18. Change thread title to “bagman strikes back”
