  1. We've got that Dec 3rd game against Uconn as well, at least we play them here this year. No clue how this team is going to do, we have a number of very good experienced players and Booker looks legit, but we never addressed the shooting and back-up ball handling.
  2. The student schooling the teacher. Fuck' A
  3. My Bipolar tendencies are in overdrive. C'mon Defense
  4. Thanks @torre We need a new thread @Pancho @Js1 for upcoming year of domination. Last chance to spank the B12.
  5. For a 19 year old the dude does look like a man on the floor, got some size to him and he’s aggressive going to the rim. Not sure for his highlight video I would have included him banking in a three off the glass (11:32)😃 but what the hell, I’m all in. I see some fun times in our future.
  6. 2023-2024 Roster up now. https://texassports.com/sports/womens-basketball/roster Why is Aaliyah Moore listed as a junior, should she not have been granted a redshirt year?
  7. I understand Vic saying he doesn’t want to recruit portal transfers which could hurt the development of his incoming players and I know it's a juggling act, but I cringe thinking about how the year ended with no back-up for Rori and hurting for another solid shooter with Sonya out. I think he wanted certain players but just struck-out on signing them. I hope those freshman are ready to go.
  8. Agreed. I've seen some of the players he's signed have scriptures posted on their social like it was a plus for them. Certainly could be a problem for others. I think Spear knew where she was going from the start. We really need a another guard or two, you would think our specific need along with Vic's success would be attractive to someone. I blamed the slow roll last year on not having a coaching staff, that's not the issue this year. This is getting discouraging.
  9. Wow, what a loss for Wake. With her I feel we would be in the hunt. I wonder what our chances are to get her? After getting no one so far and other teams picking up players the landing spots have to be diminished and should increase our chances. Can we do her and Mair I wonder? Please?
  10. Hunter was probably told by the NBA's Undergraduate Advisory Committee that at 6'0" he needs to be a point guard to make it in the league. Wonder how he feels about us recruiting Abmas?
  11. Three returning players. Bishop, Allen and Cunningham. Thanks for putting that together. Interesting.
  12. Wow. I think he and Disu will both be back, although they don't have to sit out if they transfer because Beard left correct? Wonder how his Jabari ball fake is coming? I would laugh my ass off if he started using it.
  13. Well, RT brought in Haith so....... Pretty much.
  14. Do we know if Abmas has a visit scheduled?
  15. We may need to start thinking about moving back to Gregory Gym for a few years.
  16. Harmon FG% .382 BTA% .250 Mair FG% .360 BTA% .294 Morris: FG% .415 BTA% .388 Matharu FG% .429 BTA% .421 I think Mair will shoot better her sophomore year. (Let's just forget Rori's shooting last year....) Would love to sign another great 3 point shooter. Should be top priority for Vic right now. What I've seen of Booker's skill and attitude I think it's going to be hard to keep her off the floor. She's unreal and a creator as well. Can't wait.
  17. Lots of social media follows both ways with Mair. Mair following Texas WBB page. Looking promising.
  18. "Mair set the single-season freshman assists record with 217 and finished second in a single season in program history" I don't get why she would want to be back-up to Harmon. She averaged 6.6 assists per game as a freshman. You know Vic is going to be having Rori running point 90% of the time, just seems strange.
  19. Looks like it was Taina Mair. Heck of a player but looks like she's a solid point guard. 29.4% from 3 -- 6.6 assists per game Would she fit with Rori? 27. Taina Mair, 5-foot-9, G, sophomore, Boston College The departures of Gakdeng and Mair are a real blow to the Eagles. Mair was the team's third-leading scorer (11.1 PPG), right behind Gakdeng, and was eighth in the country with 6.6 assists per game on a team that only shot 41.4% from the field. That Mair is a Boston native who originally decided to stay home and then started all 33 games as a freshman makes the decision that much more surprising. She would be an ideal fit for a talented team that just needs to plug in a pass-first point guard.
