  1. We know the Big12 isn't going to show any love for Texas, witness the preseason rankings. Next year should be fun because Rori's numbers should be even better with help at guard, but giving any Texas player accolades in our last season in the conference would be making the "blonde mafia" eat a turd taco. But nice to see ESPN recognizing Harmon's greatness. We know who the B12 player of the year is.
  2. True, but after watching Ashley play this year and watching KH's freshman campaign I'm not sure my disappointment in not having them around to play is warranted. Maybe one of them could have given Rori a break, but unless KH has greatly improved Vic should have had a better option coming in from the portal. They are both head-cases and court challenged.
  3. All this. A few bad calls yesterday but the officiating was not why we lost that game. As stated the main issue here is we started the year low on guards and then fragile self-absorbed Kyndall borked us. Already low on guards and outside scorers we lost Sonya. Yesterday Holle (40 min) went 1-7 (14.3%) for 5 points. I love Shay but that's terrible production from the 3 position. Shaylee 4-8 for 10 points. Rori (39 min) 5-18 (28%) for 12 points. Amina had 6 TO in 18 minutes. We really miss Sonya, I'm not wondering how we lost yesterday, I just amazed we won Saturday. If, like JS1 thinks, she's done for the year I will not be optimistic for the remainder of the season.
  4. True, but they played Tech at home in Waco, then drove an hour down to Austin. We played what was a huge game at OU at 6 pm.
  5. This is correct. And the OU game was huge, we are physically and emotionally spent.
  6. They only have 3 turnovers and are shooting 53%. Hard to keep up with that kind of efficiency, that has got to change.
  7. Playing big, only one three point threat on the floor for us.
  8. 2 fouls on Shaylee and extremely thin at guard. Not optimal.
  9. Anissa listed as a senior, Femme as a junior, Sonya and Shaylee as grad students, but my understanding was Shaylee had one year of eligibility left and Sonya none. Is that all correct? Not getting the senior day graphic at all.

  12. Anthony Guy Bennett (born June 1, 1969) is an American former professional basketball player and since 2009 the head coach of the University of Virginia men's team, with whom he won the NCAA Championship in 2019.[3] Bennett is a three-time recipient of the Henry Iba Award, two-time Naismith College Coach of the Year, and two-time AP Coach of the Year. Bennett is the all-time wins leader at Virginia, and holds or shares records for single-season wins and career winning percentage at both Virginia and Washington State. He is one of three coaches in history (with Dean Smith and Mike Krzyzewski) to lead his program to ten or more consecutive winning ACC records[a][4][5] and is one of three coaches (also with Smith and Krzyzewski) to be named ACC Coach of the Year four or more times.[6]
  13. Facing Mulkey as the 2 in this scenario. Hate to play her but they may be the most overrated 2, so perhaps not a bad thing. Plenty of games left though. Tara will probably start bitching about our physical play before the day is done.
  14. Rori 10 for 12 from the line this game. Good to see. Team shooting 80% from the line. Nice
  15. Thanks for the update. Dammit! Not that much time left in the season. Thigh contusions that bad or something else I wonder?

  17. Our non-shooting guards only took 12 shots combined. Harmon kept passing to them and they just passed it back and Rori had to put it up.
  18. Frustrating. 5 for 12 from the line 2 for 14 from three 27 for 69 from the floor and down by only 5. With Sonya we win this easily.
