"Vic on why he pulled Rori and went with Bri:
"I just wanted to give Rory a blow, wanted to pull her over and talk to her about a couple things, and then once Bri came in …. obviously she was playing well and she was doing some good things, had a lot of juice on the floor, so you know I’m certainly not gonna take her out when she’s playing good. You know she had those back-to-back turnovers there, I think that’s when I got her out. But nothing other than the kid came in and was playing well and our team was playing well with her. I thought they had a lot of juice with her, like she energized our kids tonight. Everybody was excited about her. There was no need to take her out of there until she kind of got a little bit faster, got sped up and that’s OK, she’s really good fast."
Madi on Bri and Jordan:
"Bri, she’s different man, she comes in a game, I told her to turn it on, she gets the ball, goes down, gets a layup. That’s what she brings our team, she just brings so much juice that when we see that, we’re with her. I don’t think it’s just Bri, it’s Jordan too, I wish you could see our practices, sometimes when it’s dead, those two are the only ones talking, which is, you know sad, but also if it’s a good thing, because they’re freshmen coming in with so much energy, they are giving these vets some juice, it’s just a great thing to see."
Shay on Bri and Jordan:
"Like Madi said, the joy of the game being contagious like that is so apparent with both Bri and Jordan. Just like having fun and like reminding all of us that like it’s basketball and it’s fun. Like Maddie said, the juice that Bri brings, like I love playing with her, I love seeing her emotion on the court because it’s contagious, you can see it go to the whole team, the whole bench, everyone, it’s really awesome."
