  1. You beat my edit. I concede the point. 👍
  2. Head to the southern tip. Freedom in Paradise (aka Rastas) bar. The cruise shippers with be locked in to Senior Frogs and Carlos and Charlies. They have great cheap drinks, a hot plate to cook really good food on and a beach with beautiful water. And you can get your SO to pose here?
  3. "The tortuous tarmac"
  4. Lol at the camera looking at the girls ass at 3:28.
  5. We love Hotel Secreto. The staff pre-Covid treated us like royalty. It's a very short walk from Hidalgo Street and Playa Norte and also has a private beach. You can't swim there but you can get drink service from the hotel and if you're lucky you can tell the bartender what you want for lunch and he'll go out and get it for you. Secreto's beach may not have sargassum as it is on the other side of the island on the Bay of Mujeres.
  6. Dog Beach at Lover’s Key near Bonita Beach had a crocodile in the water today. We take our dogs there every few weeks. Not now until we know it’s clear.
  7. I'm going to be the outlier and say I like the format. It's more engaging than three practice sessions. I would like to see them make the points for the sprint race more meaningful to encourage more racing.
  8. They should add a pinewood derby for Sunday morning.
  9. If you ever fly in to Seattle sit on the left side on the plane in a window seat. If the weather is right you'll be treated to this view.
  10. At least we have back to back and then back to back to back coming up.
  11. I'll add that for the most part their beaches are nothing like our beaches.
  12. There are a number of places in Italy I'd be glad to spend the rest of my days in.
  13. Teahupoo is still my favorite. Teahupoo
  14. Yeah, and the ferry schedule in March on the Amalfi Coast is iffy at best as well. That water gets pretty choppy.
  15. Lots of good restaurants and especially around Palma. It’s about a 40 minute drive from one side of the island to the other so eat closer to where you decide to stay. Both coasts (NE and west) were a lot of fun.
  16. I am sad.
  17. If yesterday was Thursday, they weren't supposed to be open. Bastos is always closed on Thursday. There's a little place around the corner that's cheap and good. We ate there and two meals and a beer were about $13.
  18. It’s cheap, it’s good and it’s authentic. That’s enough for me.
  19. I can confirm that it is HAF there in July but it's still a great time. Eat at Bastos. Closed on Thursdays.
  20. This is the longest to dig prison escape tunnel in history.
  21. You don’t even want to know how many bottles I have on my racks from La Fortezza. If there’s a better place to taste wine I don’t know where it is although the enoteca in Greve is top notch.
  22. Now you have me interested! I'm heading to my favorite vineyards in Gaiole in Chianti (named the most idyllic place to live in Italy by Forbes) and Piemonte in September. Many cases will be shipped back.
