  1. LSU?? Congrats. Your guys earned it on the field.
  2. That was the most shitastic second half I've ever seen.
  3. This is all true except for the fact that it has already happened at least a couple of times in the past and no Xichigan player or coach was accosted or injured.
  4. I was impressed by LeClerc's tire management on Sunday. He did a one stopper (as did Verstappen) and not only hung onto second place but finished about 8 seconds behind Verstappen. Over 58 laps that's a difference of 0.14 a lap.
  5. Yes for most. If you want to go to a small vineyard you most definitely should make a reservation. If you're going to a big one like Barnoe Ricasoli you can walk in.
  6. In Tuscany we stay at Agriturismo Le Trappoline. If you like Chianti Classico wine they make great ones. The agriturismo is right in the middle of their vines. Gaiole in Chianti is a little hidden treasure. There's also a great ceramics place nearby.
  7. Yes. The great Super Tuscans (Sassicaia, Ornellaia, etc) are made on the Tuscan coast. Sassicaia doesn't do tours but Ornellaia does as do many others. Your phone is fine for GPS use.
  8. I've watched several Texas games as I have an interest in Ewers as a former Buckeye. He doesn't have happy feet. He has really bad footwork. I think all his life his arm talent has been able to overcome his poor mechanics but now he's facing a much higher level of competition. I also wonder if he was rushed back after the injury against Alabama. He's also only 19 and didn't get meaningful reps for two years.
  9. Max's mommy needs to learn that he's an adult now and can pick and choose his own battles. What a fucked up family that is.
  10. There's no consistency to penalties because of a few things in my view. 1) There is definitely a hierarchy of drivers in the stewards minds. 2) The stewards are not professional stewards. They're probably buddies of FIA people. 3) There's no clear cut set of rules that determines that if A happens then B is the penalty. They're making it up as they go.
  11. Bullshit. That was totally on Ricciardo. Just like Norris taking out LeClerc was on Norris. Call a spade a spade. It was terrible driving.
  12. Like father, like son. Shit begets shit.
  13. His footwork is not good either. Great arm but inaccurate because his fundamentals aren't there.
  14. Avios is just an example. When flying out of the country look at transfer partners that fly where you want to go on favorable routes. Avios are great on American domestically because British Air uses a mileage based chart. I’ve done Avios on my last couple of trips because one trip was to Spain and the other to Italy and Iberia gets you to both countries. Avios can be freely transferred between British Air, Iberia and also Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus also uses Avios and I believe their Philly to Dublin redemptions are a great value for business class. Every airlines mileage program is free to join. Then it’s just a matter of transferring the points and booking. Many foreign carriers offer much better redemptions to Europe than airlines based in the US. Way better in many cases and particularly so if you like the really nice seats.
  15. Transfer to the airline bucket if at all possible. American is tough with Amex points because AA miles come through Citi card spending. I use Amex points to transfer to Avios generally. Those 260k points will almost get you from JFK to Milan and back for two in Emirates first class which is supposed to be a great flying experience. How I did Spain. Transferred MR points from Amex to Iberia at 1:1.4. Redeemed Avios off peak for 42000 each way in business class from Miami to Madrid and back. Total cost for two was 120000 MR points. You just need to look at what routes you can fly and what Amex points transfer partners you can use on that route.
  16. Now we need to teach you how to use those points more effectively unless that was for the whole family. I fly business class to Europe for two for way less points than that.
  17. What game did you watch? Northwestern kicked off to begin the game and Ohio State kicked off to begin the second half.
  18. True but they had no choice but to make the decision after the race. The incident happened on the last chicane of the last lap.
