  1. They do not like strangers there and trying to buy weed from most is a recipe for disaster.
  2. It is a very interesting time in college football off the field. That is for sure.
  3. 50% is a rare event.
  4. Doesn't bother me. Ohio State becomes an automatic entry.
  5. It allows them to block the 12 team playoff or to make sure that the criteria isn't skewed to heavily favor one conference.
  6. Hint. It's not a scheduling alliance. It's a voting alliance. Enough votes and power to block anything the SEC wants to do.
  7. And it’s a great place. Enjoy!
  8. Yes, it's the United States Virgin Islands. lol ETA: I did not say don't bring cash. I did say that for the most part places take credit cards and 99.9% of the businesses in Cruz Bay take cash. If you're on the east bum fuck side of the island then yeah, you need cash.
  9. How was the Sassicaia?

Got my son a Pro-ject phono box. $99 and definitely does not suck.

You can get a brand new Pro-ject Debut Carbon for $349. Why not do that and add the phono stage? Comes with stylus and a new belt.
  12. You don't think that running the scout team against high level D1 players will improve him as much as playing high school ball? This doesn't even take into account being in a D1 S&T program or the film study.
  13. I like the cop that used his horse to herd another guy away from the scene.
  14. Defensive back. No receiver has decommitted.
  15. Let's not pretend that pretty much every university in the country doesn't make it easy for scholarship athletes to get through admissions. Some do but they aren't named Ohio State and they aren't named Texas either. Regular students? Ohio State is not an easy one to get in despite the size of the university.
  16. It was a great display of teamwork. Russell offering to sacrifice his race for Latifi was impressive as well.
  17. Damn that was entertaining. Bumper cars. An epic Mercedes fuck up leaves us with a standing start of 1 car on the grid. Mercedes then outmaneuvers Red Bull. Vettel dq'd. Really FIA? Ocon holds off Vettel for the entire race. Alonso with the best defending I've seen in years. That was fun.
  18. California is wide open for recruiting. The big programs have been hitting it hard.
  19. That remains to be seen. The B1G still has a huge population base. The other thing is that TV contracts as we know them are likely to change. We're already seeing the mothership with huge layoffs. ESPN isn't going to remain the cash cow for conferences that they have been in the past. It going to be interesting to see how conference realignment part two unfolds and what contracts become with streaming services likely to enter the bidding.
  20. The B1G has the most lucrative TV contract currently. It's a good bit higher than that of the SEC. Ohio State also has one of the most lucrative merchandising contracts. Bolting to the SEC (which makes zero sense) would not put more money in the coffers.
  21. Used to be $50 I think? Because of COVID it has been a while. We last sailed the BVI in 2019. I think they've jacked the fee up to discourage day trippers from coming. All I know if that Great Harbour and White Bay on Jost have to be hurting for business.
  22. Found the entry fee info

  24. They did but there's been a recent spike. If you're vaccinated there's a couple of little hoops to jump through but unvaccinated people now have to quarantine for 7 day. Yes, a passport is needed and there's a hefty (I think $175 right now) entry fee.
  25. BTW, enjoy. It's an amazing island. It's a shame that the BVI and COVID aren't getting along and you can't day trip there.
