  2. But the music isnt the reason for the rowdy crowd as we see at the OU game and other games. We also have a sauced crowd and students finally in one section close to the field that watches a team thats good. The music needs to be 7-9 depending on the situation. Whens it’s 11, it sucks the oxygen out of the stadium when it’s not blaring. It’s a crutch.
  3. The voting public isnt as stupid as they are ignorant. Just as ignorant as I was that Charlie Kirk was a family values christian. My experience of him was a political troll, shock debater, and racist. But I have smart friends, very smart friends - a literal rocket scientist, who mourned his passing like he was the 2nd coming. We just don’t live in the same reality.
  4. If Im UNC, I cut bait and hire Kingsbury. He’s a college coach and he’d wreck shop in the ACC. Commanders season is over, his stock is down, and he’ll restore some Rizz to the program.
  5. Correlation doesnt equal causation. Here’s what lead to the rowdy atmosphere: 1) First home game against aggy in 15 years at night 2) Competitive teams with stakes in a competitive game 3) Bunching students together close to the field 4) Alcohol sales Here’s what actually detracts: 1) Filler music piping in at 90-100 dbs. Its been louder the last few games. Last year and earlier this year it was fine. 2) Stripper DJs 3) Texas Fight chants lead by stripper dj Some welcome distractions: 1) Drone show and nighttime pyro technics. 2) Hotties dressing to impress 3) Less Bob Cole The gameday experience is not for the students. It’s for the tourists. My observation is that the UT fanbase has significantly grown under Sark and CDC, that it seems there are far less road fans than I’ve ever seen.
  6. Sprinkle in underage drinking and drug possession and we have a West Campus coverup. She may have fell on her own. Thats just another weekend for the Texas Cowboys. I think suicide is unlikely, at least without significant drugs and alcohol in her system.

  8. My detective work: a fine chica like that (RIP) is not left alone for a single minute at a house party.
  9. SIAP https://www.chron.com/news/article/texas-am-student-death-ut-game-21217278.php? Police already determined no foul play. Seems like a hasty conclusion. Word to the wise: do not get drugged, drowned, or defenestrated in Austin. They’ll sprinkle some fentanyl on the body and call it a day.
  10. Between Trump saying we’ll kill traffickers on land and public comments on this from Pete Hegseth, they must know we’re stupid. Here are 10 direct public quotes from Hegseth on these strikes: Here are 10 direct quotes attributed to Pete Hegseth concerning strikes on drug traffickers, based on the context provided: "We will treat those cartels like the al-Qaeda of the Western Hemisphere. and we'll put them at the bottom of the Caribbean." "As we've said before, vessel strikes on narco-terrorists will continue until their ... poisoning of the American people stops.” "If you are a narco-terrorist smuggling drugs in our hemisphere, we will treat you like we treat Al-Qaeda." "Day or NIGHT, we will map your networks, track your people, hunt you down, and kill you.” "We smoked a drug boat. and there's 11 narot terrorists at the bottom of the ocean." "Our current operations in the Caribbean are lawful under both U.S. and international law, with all actions in compliance with the law of armed conflict—and approved by the best military and civilian lawyers, up and down the chain of command.” "Four male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike," which "was conducted in international waters... while the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics — headed to America to poison our people." "Every trafficker we kill is affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization." "What could be a bigger defense of this country than keeping out this poison that's killing thousands of Americans every year?" (Although the context notes this was Risch, other sources attribute similar sentiment directly to Hegseth justifying the actions. To adhere strictly to the direct quotes attributed to him, we will use another one.) "The declared intent is to stop lethal drugs, destroy narco-boats, and kill the narco-terrorists who are poisoning the American people.”
  11. Its really a Derka and other movie nerds nightmare in that scenes involve all characters having some line of dialogue, sometimes clever or witty and they over explain everything. But yeah, it’s now a guilty pleasure.
  12. I guess the camping ban really messed you up. Who picked you in the draft?
  13. And think of that movie as a Kubrick movie like Dr Strangelove. It was not meant to be subtle.
