  1. Dems are the only party that advocates for campaign finance reform, watchdogs, nonpartisan redistricting commissions, and judges who support voting rights. The list goes on and on. And yes, dems can also be corrupt. And when they are action is taken. But here’s what will blow your mind. People like you, who lump the two parties together, are the reason no action is taken because it conflates who is behind things like the Citizens United decision. Repeat after me: Democrats want to get money out of politics. Voters don’t care because they can’t tell the difference.
  2. It’s not meeting its own standard from S1. I didnt start watching this show to watch a Walking Dead reboot.
  3. $20k was about the average salary back then before free agency and collective bargaining was a thing. So, if a player bitched about only getting $20k a year for playing a game, the fans would not have much sympathy as that was more than double the median income.
  4. Thats like $150k in 2025
  5. The NBA will do fine with temporarily losing a team in DFW. What you have is an owner with one foot out the door. Each owner needs to be a strong advocate for their team. I don’t see that being the case here. Do you take the opposite position that, come hell or high water, the Adlesons will keep the team in DFW? Or, that the NBA will make the unprecedented move of forcing a team to stay in a market? Use your words.
  6. For Steelers, thats addition by subtraction. For Cowboys, thats someone who will help them dominate dogshit opponents but then compound their issue of lazy route running.
  7. Use your words. The Adelsons couldnt alienate the fanbase anymore if they tied Dirk to a bed at halfcourt and hit him in the gut with a pillow case full of oranges. Nothing makes sense and the NBA will not prevent an owner from moving the Mavs out of DFW.
  8. Elon followed the Eskimo Hut (no relation) business model. But he’s totally cool with the results: carving up liberal democracies, ending a global community organizing site, scattering legitimate journalists, and stifling voices from around the world.
  9. The NBA is a global brand. DFW aint shit. The Mavs aint shit. The Rockets, Thunder and Spurs would dance on their grave. Then NBA just creates a new expansion team later. All transactional and disposable.
  10. Houston ISD didnt have any board elections
  11. So you agree Earl and Nobis were literally figurative men amongst boys
  12. When I was a child…ah, fuck y’all
  13. I could give a shit about source material.
  14. A pedestrian episode. Very gamey. Good >As promised, Jeffrey Wright elevated episode Bad >After school special lesbo scene. Though it makes sense to keep your clothes on in an unsecured location >Ellie working thru being a parent upon seconds of hearing the info >The videogame like escape sequence. Everything went perfect in an unlikely escape from the Wolves then Zombies. Basically we’re watching a Youtube video of how to escape the subway scene >Deena overacted the bite scene. Then Ellie undershared when a gun was pointed at her. Also, after a month with Deena, maybe you can trust her and share your secret. But reasons. Ugly >HBO loves them some full frontal male nudity
  15. SNL sketch hits close to home
  16. Was the same for me. When a board candidate waffles on supporting librarians, it makes it really easy to select.
  17. Good news for you. Fast & Furious 10.2 is just around the corner.
  18. The Celtics easy path to the Finals last year also enabled them to bring back Porzingas and have fresher legs. They looked faster. Imagine a world where the Knicks beat you to a pulp then need to stop Brunson down the stretch in Game 7. None of that happened. The Celtics cruised thru the playoffs.

Republicans have passed laws to restrict anti-Israel speech (for years), are conflating anti-semitism with Israeli policy protests, and are mass revoking visas based on anti-Israel sentiment. Trump is lock step with Netanyahu and proposed taking over Gaza and turning it into condos. Democrats like getting re-elected, support Israel’s right to self-defense from factional terrorism, and attempt to use diplomacy to reign in Netanyahu’s war. They are pragmatists. US voters still support Israel. If Dems revoked support for Israel at this time, they would have lost even bigger. If you cant see the difference between Dems and Trumps on this issue, then you are either obtuse or a rightwing sock.
