  1. What are we gonna strenuously object? Teams that complain about officiating always look like punks in the media. We’re not gonna sue. We’ll lie and take it.
  2. The media will be working in shifts to make the Big12 accountable for [checks notes] 10 years of biased officiating. We’re not going to win the Big12. We’re coming off a 5-loss season and lost a generational talent. My expectations are low and vagina is extremely dry.
  3. That is a lucid, well thought-out, intelligent objection. Overruled. Bill O’Brien coached the 2022 offense to 41 points a game. 4th in the nation. BOB is one of the worst OC’s out there. Sometimes talent covers up bad coaching. Sark can coordinate an offense. And some of his offenses are beautiful to watch. Some are not. It remains to be seen what he can do without elite talent. We saw our offense sputter after other teams adjusted. Sometimes it looked like we ran out plays. He got run out of Atlanta. I’m hoping he works out, but he’s been underwhelming so far.
  4. He was the judge who correctly identified massive inequities like 20 years and 10 leg sessions ago. That he didnt swoop in and adjust the formulas that punish urban districts is not his fault. Current state leadership see the outdated formulas as a feature and not a bug
  5. California is populated by generations of Oklahoma rejects.
  6. Everyone knows that Karl Marx wrote Mein Kempf from his home in Helsinki, Sweden
  7. HST seemed pretty damned proud to be responsible for dropping on the bomb. Did I miss something, except that HST seemed unsympathetic
  8. Will Bezos buy Fox already and tank it like Elon did to Twitter and Eskimo Hut did to Shaggy? (too soon?)
  9. KR is a mass shooter. If a shooter with an AR15 shoots an unarmed person during a struggle (maybe justified), then he starts running and people around him think he’s dangerous, can they take him out? Like this is a mass shooter on the loose. Why wouldnt you be able to shoot or take down someone you believe is a dangerous mass shooter?
  10. An extra hour for bomb making? Would be a completely different movie. Watch Fat Man & Little Boy with Paul Newman and John Cusack if you want to see a movie about that. Everything built towards the ending. Not sure there was a wasted scene. Same criticism people had about Dunkirk. That it wasnt a war movie.
  11. We need a milquetoast AG who we cant remember their name because they are busy prosecuting laws, not breaking them.
  12. What if I told you there is a state that booby traps international waters against various laws and treaties and many others that wipe their asses with the 1st, 4th, well virtually all amendments? We have a former President who prompted adult human lawyers and journalists to publicly speculate whether a President could self-pardon or pardon co-conspirators. Laws are fluid in this timeline.
  13. That’s amazing. Clown show.
  14. Carlos Pena now plays for Helsinki, Sweden
  15. Just was a little shocked about the Michael Oher lawsuit against his conservators - Theres a thread on the football board. Another Michael Lewis adaptation Moneyball was greatly manipulated and may have crossed the line - the whole Jeremy Pena thing didnt go down like that. I was also disappointed that the cons from Catch Me If You Can were probably greatly exaggerated. He was no doctor or lawyer. Almost every scene was a fake of a fake. I guess growing up means learning a lot of the things you see in movies are bullshit, but some of these things go beyond slight changes for lack of time and into complete distortion.
  16. The movie focused on Oppenheimer’s rise, peak, and fall. 2/3 of the movie focused on what you felt was extraneous. And the irony of something so petty as personal grudge just adds meat to the bone. It’s like a “Rosebud” moment in Citizen Kane. The reporter searches for meaning, and its just a sled (or a euphemism for Marion Davis’ pussy). We follow the story of Opp’s downfall and learn its largely orchestrated.
  17. The grudge was set up masterfully. Early on they set up the microsnubs (a lowly shoe salesman, Einstein meeting). Downey being a likeable actor was perfectly cast to pull the switch. The clearance was central to two of the stories we see, and part of the unraveling of the third - Oppenheimer’s linear storyline.
  18. Out of desperation two years ago, Collins needed to be playing end because we were getting gashed by simple off tackle plays and obliterated by counters. Ovie was a non factor on almost every play. Its why I thought PK was developmentally challenged. But if Collins cant play inside, he cant play.
  19. Shit I saw Right Stuff when I was 10 or so. Loved it back then.
