  1. Jason Clarke is like in every other movie
  2. Texas has beaches like Rosie O’Donnell has a pussy. Neither is inviting, except as a fishing destination.
  3. Knock em dead son. I’ll do what you do at restaurants during meals that I pay for and catch it from my phone.
  4. My opinion is that Jesus Christ’ teachings are incompatible with Trump’s rhetoric, actions, and public policy positions. Moreover, he inspires terroristic actions not unlike ISIS clerics we used to vaporize. Maybe a little mob boss mixed in. some enlightening results that exposes the hypocrisy. Of course there are some exceptions: For the Ute Mormans, they disliked Trump early on for being morally repugnant but have gradually rallied around him. From my own experience in the Catholic church, I find the prosperous parishes filled with white people to be hyper-focused on abortion. Even using the homily to spike the ball after Roe v Wade was reversed. And the bishops love them some life except when it comes to capital punishment, police brutality and wars of aggression. The less prosperous parishes with more diversity are more into helping the community. You tend to see more nuns, because they bust their asses and are on the frontlines of poverty, unwed mothers, and homeless.
  5. Im good with harsher penalties for woman beaters.
  6. This is another one of your Helsinki, Sweden moments. Terrorists tend to be single men. Single people are rarely terrorists. Yet, the latest round of domestic terrorists tend to be rightwing. Though anecdotally, there’s more and more family men convicted of federal crimes after attempting to violently overthrow our government. The both sides movement is crumbling. Standard-bearers like Joe Rogan and Elon Musk are proving over and over again they are rightwing or exploiting conservatism and libertarianism to extend their brand of nihilism.
  7. “She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and lives in a $2 million home in Lakewood neighborhood, according to public records.”
  8. When I think West Lake government, I think a well run efficient machine that understands how to manage difficult problems, by segregating itself from poverty and persons of color, targeting suspicious vehicles and persons who dont belong, and planning a community with septic systems.
  9. Rollingwood is not relevant. Its Westlake. You say a QB is from Rollingwood. They say “huh, wat?” You say Westlake…they say “white boy with high floor”
  10. I hate to admit I hated the Magic dream sequences and any scene with Cookie. Like a slow motion car wreck and just bores me to death. Im not a fast forward guy but it gives me Mad Men Don Draper homelife vibes - and is filler and a weak link.
  11. Ned Reyerson is a classic character actor. Grew up in South Dallas with the Vaughan brothers and had little Stevie play guitar in a recording session with his garage band. Additionally, he said he was there in Austin when Stevie and Jimmie reconciled and planned Family Style.
  12. Barbie’s a hit! Lets do more toy movies Ignoring Greta Gerwig’s vision to do something different and casting Margot Robbie and Gosling. Oppenheimer’s a hit! Which scientist is next!!! Lets do Faraday or Marconi! These suits cant wait to AI this shit, not realizing it could mean the end of their industry and open up themselves to global competition.
  13. Mitch McConnell and Diane Feinstein are on it
  14. Young generations, especially post atomic age, have pushed for social change.
  15. Gotta have a Celebrity Bible Bonkers
  16. If you’ve watched reality shows, its pretty normal to see non-actors act ridiculous. He probably was thinking it was just that.
  17. One my company’s consultants leading our strategic planning openly advocated for Trump earlier in the 2016 primaries. I was shocked that a retired Army Colonel could be so gullible. This is a man lecturing us on processes and strategy and he’s taken in by a conman who can barely read. I’m less and less hopeful we’ll have a chance to look back at this time period and laugh about how bad things were.
  18. 50% of zero is still zero. According to tax filings the man has lost more money than anyone ever on the face of the earth. She’s not gonna get his slush funds.
  19. Saw poll today: Biden 43 / Trump 42 Unbelievable. We’re fucked.
  20. She was an anti-establishment wild child who was DTF. It showed why she was really really in to him, maybe she was a spy, maybe not, maybe a little. She was very sexy and lathered up and rode him like a pony. All captured in graphic detail, demonstrating what his wife had to endure. And it was different. Really intimate scenes, with interesting dialogue. It added a whole bunch and I doubt it was included for jollies. I could totally see why he would conduct self-destructive and duplicitous behavior and still care for her. The sex scene and nudity made perfect sense to me. And, for authenticity sake, she did not have a perfect body or bolt ons. She was intense. And raw. She should earn an Oscar nod.
  21. Thanks Poindexter. We appreciate your contributions. Yet, Victorian principles and values continued to impact English-speaking culture into the 20th century. Reds rebelled against prudishness and traditional marriage.
  22. I thought it was a bit convoluted, but he was “given a choice”. Then it became a motivating factor for Hayley’s character and redemption. So, probably not unnecessary.
