  1. I mostly agree except Bijan is not just a decent running back. You can build a team around him. All of a sudden Davis Mills starts looking awesome because you have an Alvin Kamara running around. Basically, NFL teams need to lump the few guys like Bijan with wide receivers and not lump him with free agent running backs and jags or power backs grinding out garbage yards. But I think the Texans are so far removed from winning that stockpiling the lines is probably what they need to do.
  2. Its not how conmen work. In the Music Man, River City’s problems are likely not caused by pool halls. That was a fear tactic for him to sell bogus mail order instruments and uniforms. But I recollect Harold Hill was able to come through at the end because Shirley Jones was a smokeshow and he wanted a piece of that longterm. But Trump does not have that ability because he’s shameless and a coward. And he’s incompetent at business operations and basic leadership.
  3. There is sophisticated news tracking that really pinpoints the virility of news stories. Dominion will have that data. We saw the popularity of dewormer explode after Rogan’s podcast.
  4. We need to harden parks
  5. The 49ers are the exception not the rule. Yeah 20 years ago the Ravens won with Dilfer and a guy that looks like Ric Ocasek married a supermodel. 999,999/1,000,000 homely dudes dont land supermodels, and its not the look you want. My point is that most teams with bad QBs suck. Its a hard hard path that more times than not leads teams wandering the wilderness. See Redskin Commanders and Houston Texans (Matt Schaub).
  6. In. Didnt want to like The Batman but he was great. Just need help adjusting my tv so I can see stuff on HBO
  7. Most of us were apopletic
  8. my recollection was that mystery guy was following Drake to tent town, (then off camera) tracked down the gun dealer and knew they had a gun that could have been used in the murder. ADA needed Strickland to find the gun and any other stuff. Strickland attempted to break in house. Then after ADA pep talk, did break into office. Thats where they identified gun in safe and left it there. Other left field is that Asian secretary also overheard what teacher overheard.
  9. But Strickland did break into the office
  10. So he breaks into the safe and knows its the murder weapon? I think its the fat mystery detective who found out they had the murder weapon and then had Strickland break in to find it.
  11. Chris Beard more likely than not beat a woman. He failed to adequately explain himself (for fear of criminal and civil liability), he likely lied to police, and is likely a piece of shit. Its a great thread title and fits in nicely between the APD Mug Shut Photos and Does the Ass Take the Length?
  12. Id be OK with you being put on the No Fly List, if not booted out of this country. Nevertheless, great post!
  13. They’ve kind of impacted the credibility of their lawsuit by suing everyone and their brother. They’re alleging a criminal conspiracy where Haskins was drugged, which caused his death. But everyone else (the ones who have enough money not to have to steal a watch) are also at fault?
  14. T&Ps
  15. As a sophomore, Hager had 6 sacks and 13.5 TFLs. That would have made him the Lawrence Taylor of our defense the past couple of years. He then switched positions for the 3rd time and played interior under Orlando, and with one arm. Given his pedigree, I think he’d been fine as a coached up Edge rusher. LOL wut on your bad take.
  16. One and dones might not exist anymore with the possibility the NBA starts drafting players from high school. With that being said, once the covid super seniors start thinning out, we’ll see things revert a bit back.
  17. “Likely a kind dude”? More likely than not a piece of shit woman beater. You wanna come with a “we dont really know what happened”, thats fine. We dont really know. But kind dude? I didnt think he was a kind dude before the felony assault arrest.
  18. A healthy Hager as Edge would do great in this system. A one-armed end in a 3-4, he sucked.
  19. We can also toss out Switzerland as a comp to a gun-ownership country with low crime.
  20. And also everyone had the right to bear arms as a volunteer in a militia to defend your community from “natives, foreign invaders, and armed factions” according to the Federalist Papers.
  21. Victim’s families rights are fine but they seem to be interfering with Adnan’s rights. And it seems like another unnecessary burden and expense to our criminal justice system. I’d think the burden would be on the DA or appeals lawyers to organize all that. This is a WTF for me. What the court system has to certified invites to all family members, even estranged ones? Seems ridiculous.
  22. Smells like bullshit and a waste of everyone’s time.
  23. You mean 2nd amendment rights? As intended citizens have the right to bear arms as part of the duty to serve in a militia to defend their community and, when called upon, their State and Country.
  24. Looking at it from that angle, I lean towards it being a foul on Brock. That he was too far underneath the basket and forced his way backwards with too many steps and while the other dude attempted the rebound. I can see various viewpoints, and it was hard not being apoplectic after seeing the call reversed, the foul discrepancy, and seeing multiple phantom calls on Texas and nocalls on Miami.
