  1. Look at the big brain on Behold! We really need a Poindexter forum, for all the grammar and continuity error nerds.
  2. Guess we can just shut down this message board, then.
  3. You mean from the books he was described as all that. Not miscast per the screenplay. Nothing in the movie referenced any of that. The movie benefitted from Dafoe being in it, as do most of his movies. It was miscast from your imaginings. This is pretend on film, not in a book.
  4. Sounds like book talk. Your conclusions are all wrong. Objectively speaking, this movie has one of best endings in an action thriller.
  5. What if I told you it was written that way? He was supposed to be a young sheltered New Englander that was leading for the first time. Who had a lot to prove and whose death prompted one of the best finales to a movie ever.
  6. He’s a very unique actor - the way he talks, looks and acts. He’s a great actor. Was a great choice for the movie, where he was playing an independent CIA operative. Harrison Ford was the one cashing checks in that movie.
  7. I said speak your mind, jack, but Jesus!
  8. It just seems you dont know the difference between hookers and massage therapists. You think Craft and Watson did the same thing?
  9. Then you and Bill Cosby are the same because I assume you have had consensual sex with women and he had consensual with women, at least some of the time. Watson’s not in this mess because he got rub and tugs from willing subjects. Baylor’s not rapey because of the women who freely chose to have sex with players. What are you missing? I’d prefer not get into more discussions on Bill Cosby, Art Briles, taint, semen and other bodily fluids on unwilling participants.
  10. Craft did not do the exact same shit. How is this even debatable?
  11. Discipline for the NFL is a contrived issue that helps them have more leverage against the NFLPA. With that being said, they need to have some process in place. I’m not sure how deliberate the NFL’s mismanagement is on this issue, but it’s notably worse than other leagues. I think a competent commissioner might get in the way of some of the owners agendas and private disputes.
  12. Our offense also stagnated and generated 3 and outs at an alarming rate. It was boom or bust.
  13. Maybe he’ll spin down to tight end
  14. Sounds like book talk. Based on the dialogue and scenes in the movie, there was nothing to indicate much about her background outside she was not Italian. Nor did she appear in anyway to be a New York sophisticate. Was that when they she had dinner in the hotel room (after sex)? Or when she was naive enough to ask him about his business and accept his response? There really wasnt much there in the first GF. In the GF II, she held a bigger role. She did fine in that. As an audience, you might have sided with Michael against her (as you’re apt to do with him as antihero), but then you see how turning on his own family hollowed him out.
  15. I think it was purposeful. You see her get treated shabbily and awkward, discarded, then Michael reappears and she’s like an old maid wearing a ridiculous dress. She’s in wtf mode the whole time. Gets shut out to end the movie. In episode II she gets more scenes, finally’s had enough and put out a hit on Michael’s unborn son. She’s an outcast and once again gets the door shut in her face. She’s fine. She did what she was supposed to and grew as a character.
  16. Imagine using the same rationale as Art Briles (at least early on). The judge wrongly concluded that this was a 1st time offense (it was the first time he was caught being a serial offender) and that this was a non-violent offense. And that he was a good citizen before he was caught. Victims of sexual abuse rarely get swift justice. If the standard for NFL discipline is to wait until after the justice system deliberates, a lot of retirees will be getting fines and suspensions.
  17. Username checks out unfortunately
  18. A 3-man front looks good when you have linebackers that know how to play and 3-men who maintain gap integrity. Last year’s defense couldnt stop the worst offenses in the big12, let alone a pedestrian Bama championship-caliber offense.
  19. Charter schools would be perfect for him. You raise capital, put friends and family on the board, award contracts to friends, family, accept bribes, launder money, accept public funding, give green cards for teachers, then go out of business. The only thing holding him back is that he thinks charter schools are flight schools. And he doesnt believe enough people want to become pilots. No matter how many times Betsy Devos told him, he would never understand.
