  1. Before the season started, I and a few others were shouted down for even suggesting it was possible to have Top 50 LB unit. Think its vital to get some Edges willing and able to defend the run on occasion. Its still not great but not as putrid as last year. Then you can develop linebackers.
  2. Derka: I feel sorry for you Walmart: I dont think about you at all
  3. Anyone who’s been stuck in the mud in Ukraine knows, you step on the gas, one tire spins, the other tire does nothing. You gotta have positraction.
  4. Ewers with a short pass to a wide open tight end would’ve been successful
  5. Dont exactly know where you’re going with this, but had that been the first time we ran that and we had identified KState following blockers and not Bijan, that would have been genius. With a more experienced team, I’m convinced Sark will wreck shop here because he’ll have more plays to use. But, this is college football. You’re gonna have to play a lot of newcomers some years. Need some flexibility and it helps to have mobile QBs.
  6. You know that's a true story? Lady lost her kid. You're about to cross some fuckin' lines.
  7. Ojomo leaving his feet LOL
  8. We wouldnt want to do anything to upset our reputation there
  9. Herman and Strong pulled in major classes before the stench of mediocrity strained their credibility and they were compelled to shake up staffs. We go 5-7 or 6-6 the pitchforks will come out organically. We’ll still pull a great class perhaps with some notable losses. Year 3, we start slow, then the wheels will come off of recruiting. We’ve seen this show before. We need football people to discreetly vet up and coming coaches, analyze their results, get intel, not just for head coach but coordinators. The “hey I like this guy” golf club convos between BMDs is a demonstration of dysfunction. Del Conte and ex players are the only people I want involved in the initial phase of coaching searches. Regarding Sark, I like him and think he can have success. But the lack of passion last year at Fayettenam was a red flag. And now the road record solidifies what I suspect: Sark is not motivating the team to play with attitude when not feeding off the home crowd.
  10. Saw a Jack Black interview where he advised the director to change the name of the movie because people would think of shit stains. So mainstream movie with big stars to be released in theaters, but just no way it would be successful. Along the lines of Tip Toes.
  11. Maybe I missed a play but is that Worthy “drop” the one where he fell down and didnt touch it?
  12. One reason for this is that usually Mack Brown teams have superior players. But he has a conservative system thats risk averse. My sense is that, like Tom Herman, they were lazy and did not put as much into gameplans week to week. And Mack conditioned his teams to counter-punch and weather the storm. So, you’d see slow starts and then more aggressive play-calling in the 2nd half (like crossing routes, working the middle of the field). By the 4th quarter, Mack Brown teams would be in good position to win the game. Mack Brown also had Duane Akina. So usually meant a team wouldnt be able to pass their way back into games. Mack Brown is also fortunate to have some great kickers. And he managed them well.
  13. Look at the big brain on Hagbard!
  14. after being afforded the due process they seek to destroy
  15. If they use nukes, I’ll cut my caviar purchases altogether and 1/2 of my vodka.
  16. Store it in the Raiders of the Lost Ark warehouse
  17. Well Sark better fire the people in charge of coaching players
  18. We have safeties?
  19. We successfully foisted them upon the SEC and now we have to endure them once again. Madness!
  20. Their recruiting has been Top 20 most years but only occasionally Top 10. They also had some horrible attrition in their transition class before Heupel. Heupel has coached them up and they believe. A good start.
  21. Well that’s a core part of Treadstone, the ability to focus, absorb, process info. They even show him reading maps quickly and while driving in a high speed chase.
