  1. I knew it wasn’t actually CTJ’s when the listing didn’t include a full-sized track and shed in back with photos of Plonsky and Greg Davis pinned on the walls.
  2. Yes. Maybe we can beat TCU every year with this structure.
  3. Hopefully we don’t use him on the recruiting circuit or he’ll sweat through grandmas couch trying not to negatively recruit himself.
  4. Could you imagine construction sites if everyone could run a 4.4??
  5. Might have missed this point of the convo, but could we do a raffle based system to make this slush fund about signed memorabilia? $25-$50 tickets to win a signed football/helmet by worthy or whomever the recipient is? This could get more buy-in from T-shirt fans and something Surly could cross promote on social media.
  6. Relax, Ethel. Texas hasn’t developed a culture of caring about basketball and everyone is used to getting their cheers drowned out by the size of the drum. Create an atmosphere where it actually feels like your voice matters and the student base will be more involved.
  7. Can we discuss potential hand sizes next?
  8. BWG headline at seasons end: “Beard wins National Championship with help of roster and culture developed by Shaka Smart.”
  9. Must have been why OU got so many beneficial calls.
  10. I still have a difficult time not looking at the OL situation as the link that is causing the rest of the team to fail. The second half the past two weeks have been riddled with false starts, holding calls and inconsistent protection/blocking. This has led to short drives and skewed time of possession. The thing that gives me hope is we have played so damn well in the first half of games on defense that fatigue has to be one of the major factors (not looking deeply into halftime adjustments) and hoping that if we can find a way to sustain drives and get the defense off the field in the second half, the performance will improve. There’s a strong chance that I am a hopeless romantic with a propensity toward blind naivety, but I have to cope somehow.
  11. Part of my issue with the pessimism is it feels like you guys are writing off the potential for future success because you’ve been hurt by the past. Your trust issues are showing.
  12. If I had more faith in the roster as it is currently constructed, id be sullen along with you. I don’t know that anyone is trying to stand on a soap box and proclaim Sark is the chosen one, but to write him off midway through season 1 is a bit rash. Bring this to recruiting, I’ll lose a little bit of faith after I see the results of this recruiting class and the Arch situation play out. If the staff can still sell kids after the struggles of this season, it gives me hope that they have a vision for the future that is worth buying into. If they prove to not be able to close, we only keep getting further away from them being able to lean on the Bama pedigree.
  13. Confirmed Sark pissed in your Cheerios
  14. I think he means the team becomes closer in the face of adversity. Nothing to do with proximity to success.
  15. I’m concerned with his ability to get up the field and to the second level. We don’t need any more anchors on the line.
