  1. They build it at the site. See the tweets I shared a few posts ago. This is a compliment coming from you. You lack a basic understanding of how miners work but call me misguided. Lulz. This is a waste of time.
  2. It’s coming from private money https://www.cnbc.com/2021/11/23/lancium-raises-150-million-for-renewable-run-bitcoin-mines-in-texas.html And Public money https://news.yahoo.com/argo-blockchain-bitcoin-begins-building-green-crypto-mine-texas-101532690.html Those comments and you’re being completely wrong on what makes bitcoin miners profitable has me wondering why you’re so adamant while being wrong. It’s a complex topic and I’m far from an expert on the grid, but here’s something good I’ve read delving into this. Yes. There’s multiple companies that help set people up. Here’s a cool video. This is pretty dope.
  3. You’re just wrong my man. I don’t know what else to tell you. The number one input determining mining profitability is electricity cost. They can actually lose money by running so they won’t run them. Also, the machine don’t become obsolete that fast. They can have down time. Anyway here’s a graph representation of the benefit.
  4. You still don’t get it. If the electricity costs too much it’s not profitable for them to mine so it makes sense to turn off. It doesn’t hurt the machines to turn off and on and they can do it quickly.
  5. My understanding is the powering down is contractually stipulated. As far as supply goes, we want the extra supply. That’s the whole point. These aren’t immediate changes either. They’ll take time, but should make a material impact eventually.
  6. It’s really a simple argument. I’m not sure why you have trouble understanding it. Building out of power sources, especially green energy, is often limited for financial reasons. When there is lower demand in the market for electricity they don’t make much money if any. Bitcoin miners are a buyer of last resort. They will always buy at reasonable prices and therefore help make more projects viable. They also run variable load programs which throttle down their electricity utilization when demand is higher so they aren’t pulling off power when the grid can’t afford it. There aren’t a lot of downsides to it.
  7. Chappelle was right. This is this big of an issue because of the white males involved with lgbt community. White privilege, much like pussy, is undefeated.
  8. There’s a smaller chance of it getting stolen than of crypto withdrawals being severely limited in the future. Best to hold and secure your own keys now. There’s also the idea that these exchanges are running fractional reserves. The coin are intermingled and they almost certainly don’t have them all. It helps suppress the price of these assets. Not to mention it looks like they use them for other purposes.
  9. Correct. It implies you’d rather not be homosexual, which is a slur in itself. Unless it is followed immediately by a NTTAWWT.
  10. Your first example is a good one that is another extreme outlier. Probably about as common as late term abortions. But you’re basically trading a guaranteed death, for a possible one if we’re being cynical. As to your second example, those can be induced to deliver early very easily at their size. It happens. The end result here isn’t abortion being made illegal. Different states will have different rules.
  11. I can say with extreme certainty that I know vastly more of this topic than you.
  12. Thanks for telling me! Those happen all day, every day. How come I haven’t heard of that happening in the months since it passed? Maybe you’re wrong?
  13. Those don’t qualify. They get salpingectomies. Totally different deal.
  14. I’m trying to think of a situation where you can’t humanely deliver a baby as fast as you can via dilation and evacuation of the uterus. I can’t. In emergency situations where a mother’s life is truly in danger then they would have a c section under general anesthesia. It’s really straight forward. On second thought maybe the only outlier where you could see maternal danger coming from a ways off would be a woman with some severe genetic cardiac abnormality, like pulmonic or aortic stenosis. But those patients would likely be counseled for either correction Of their cardiac issues or sterilization options when they reached child bearing age. These are like one in a million scenarios. Tl;DR the to save the mother exception is Bs.
  15. Dems are already doing great with white women. We’re going to find out if it’s as big an issue for other groups as it seems to be for them.
  16. I saw this but wasn’t sure to make of the conflicting accounts. It does seem that they’re signaling that they’re leaning toward a harder backing for their currency. If they‘ve been coordinating on this with China that would be a concern. If they come out at some point with a surprise announcement about their gold reserves or some other backing arrangement for their currency it could shake things up a bit. As a side note, the ruble is higher than it was pre invasion.
  17. Didn’t realize how concentrated Buffett has gotten in aapl. 40% of portfolio.
  18. The budget is up 6x in 35 years. Tuition collected is up 25x. Was $25M now $625M. Enrollment is up modestly.
  19. Go crypto!!! 🤡 🤡 🤡 If you’re into crypto and think you’re building something that’s going to make a difference, think twice. Look who’s pumping your shitcoins. Just stop and think about it.
  20. Why did he buy a $550k watch? Because he could. Dont be a hater.
