There is a major difference in time and money between refurbing a survivor and doing a total showroom restoration ( which hopefully fixes a lot of the issues it came from the factory with, like shitty brakes, huge panel gaps, and others like rust). You came here looking for advice. If your mother is ill a total restoration could take a couple years or more as you have to find parts, of which is mostly looking for the weird cosmetic and intricate parts that are outside of mechanicals.
