  1. I think Blue is the better receiver. Blue also averaged 6.1 per carry compared to 4.8 for Baxter. I tend to favor Blue slightly, though I am glad to have both. I really like guys who can house it on any play.
  2. I don't think I have ever posted a single thing about Taylor Swift.
  3. It's become an obsession with white knights like I've never seen: "zomg, male football fans hate Taylor so much". Literally no one give a shit. It's like the trashy couple that thinks " everyone is always trying to break us up"
  4. Some people would like the football board to just be one thread.
  5. The Oilers 1992-93 team really was not that good. They went 10-6 and their defense under Jim Eddy was mediocre. The 1993-94 team that lost to Montana was so much better. They started 1-4 because they changed the entire defense. And then won 11 in a row once Buddy Ryan got the defense going, even beating a strong San Fran team on the road and holding them to 7 points. The 1993 team was the one that could have given Dallas a game. Dallas would have destroyed the 1992 Oilers.
  6. The KC loss in playoffs next year was worse. That Oiler team was so much better and could have given us an all Texas Super Bowl.
  7. I like Burton and Hamilton the most. CJ is coming on strong. I still think Wadlington is smart and a talented writer. I like his occasional podcasts. Kelson is really good. I also like Rod Babers, though his voice might bother some and he gets repetitive -- though I think anyone who has to talk in a podcast as much as these guys is going to be repetitive. Nahlin, Wells, Chip Brown, 247 are just awful. Orangebloods is on a different level of suck from even that group. They don't even try.
  8. I never heard of Glasscock until about a month ago, but I'm pretty sure we are now doomed. j/k Sucks to lose someone in Belmont who was good at their job and added value (considering how much waste like Plonsky and most of her reports). Hope Sark hires the best replacement possible.
  9. Between drinking 99.9999 percent of my coffee at work or old fashioned drip at home or ranch, I bet my lifetime cost per cup is around a penny.
  10. Probably going to get a new trial. Due to clerk being an idiot.
  11. I asked this earlier and got no answer. Does anyone know why Sherrone Moore went to JUCO out of high school? Usually, it's either the player was not a big prospect or they were not very bright/studious. Do we know which for Moore?
  12. I know one of the Houston guys who funds NIL. He’s my age. Don’t think he can do what he’s done the last couple years indefinitely. My understanding is we need more guys like him and that CDC recognizes this. Maybe he can get some of the old money guys to direct money from LHF to TOF. Hopefully our professional class/entrepreneurs like many of us can get a high percentage to make monthly donations.
  13. The other son runs the family's non-Texans business and Cal is in charge of Texans. Other son, I believe, wants to sell..
  14. I was just kidding around and trying to remember the last time I remember Ketchum said anything that had any value. We had little returning at receiver that year. It was a worry. To the point we moved Ramonce to WR. Ketchum posted and I think said in a lunch bunch how good Billy Pittman was looking in practice and was tearing up our DBs in the summer. It was a pretty bold prediction. Then Pittman tears up Ohio State, OU, and Tech before getting hurt. Ketchum had a source or was right about something that was not obvious. I think that was the last time.
  15. It was pretty good. 750 yards on a running team and led conference (and perhaps country) in yards per catch. He had a massive first half of year until he hurt his ankle against Texas Tech. Had 130 yards in opener against Ohio State (at night in the shoe). 548 yards and 5 TDs in first five games. Then he got hurt and did little rest of season.
  16. Since A&M left the Big 12, per Sagarin computer rankings, here is the average SOS for Texas, A&M, Alabama, and OU Texas - 14.75 Bama - 15 A&M - 29 OU - 17.5 We have played tougher schedules than A&M because we have played 9 conference games plus a tough nonconference while A&M only plays 8 conference games, has a gimme annual versus South Carolina, and has a joke nonconference schedule that includes one or two FCS bye weeks per year.
  17. Erroneous. In the summer of 2005, he repeatedly maintained that Billy Pittman was going to have a massive year. Been a bit of a dry spell since then.
  18. I hope so. Because the lawyers who represent Reed should be disbarred for the fraud they are perpetrating on the public and the courts. The IP has done some great things. But what they have done in the Reed case is disgusting.
  19. You know who does vaccinate their kids at a high rate (at least from the data the last time I looked, which was awhile back)? Recent immigrants from Mexico and Central America. Because some of those diseases they prevent were more common in their countries more recently than the US.
  20. It is a weird confluence of hippy libs and homeschool types. Anyone who does not vaccinate their kids with MMR is pretty much a fool, unless a medical doctor says not to (kid is a chemo patient). I also think giving a minor the Covid jab is really stupid. Healthy young adults probably do not need it but it does not matter much either way. Anyone with risk factors is stupid not to get it. So I guess I am pro vax except for giving minors the Covid jab, which makes no sense to me.
  21. The Innocence Project has turned into a joke. They lost a lot of credibility with their ridiculous positions and fabricating perjury in the Rodney Reed case.
