  1. Exactly. You get it.
  2. Make the deal now to stay alive. Then renegotiate after and say “but it was that fucking guy and we had to do it to live.” Every one will understand.
  3. I woke up in a SoHo doorway A policeman knew my name
  4. Right? I mean, they’ve been here longer than there’s been a USA? When is enough gonna be enough? - my idiot trumpster friends/family probably (and definitely without irony)

Saw it last night. Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone here, though it is not as my friend claimed. As the title suggests, this is the origin story of LZ. It goes from the back stories of each member through the release of LZII. It seems to be a vehicle for 1) letting the members tell their version of events (there are no outside interviews) and 2) getting some footage/audio out there that hadn’t had a good place to be released before. However, to the deep Zep fans that populate this thread, it’s likely you will have seen/heard at least some of this before - probably right here in this thread. There wasn’t much in the way of audio I hadn’t heard before but there was a fair bit of video that was new to me. All that said, go see it. Even if you’d seen it all before (and you haven’t), it would still be worth it to see and hear it on the big screen with great sound. That was the part that as most enjoyable for me. I’ve heard a lot of these songs countless times. But I’ve never heard them like THIS.
  6. I have a friend from UT who has worked for State for decades. This morning I noticed this person had changed all their social media handles. My guess is because of this.
  7. “But will they be white?” - current admin questions.
  8. He won’t let anyone but his supporters in.
  9. Well then. I guess they’ve just got some finding out to do.
  10. How could we make Texas dumber? Abbott has the answers to the questions no one is asking!
  11. So for the record, I grew up with a 68 Tele in the house, so it’s top hat switch cap and flat top knobs for me. They just seem right. But I’m still Sean Connery over Roger Moore even though I saw Roger Moore first.
  12. ^This. This world looks like our world. But it’s definitely not our world. The whole show is about the manipulation of reality. We know he lives in a company town, in a company development. We don’t really know much about the information he receives - or how reliable it is - beyond what the show tells us. Anything else is projecting our world onto the show world.
  13. Mark didn’t see that though. His outtie seems pretty insular and aloof. It particularly engaged in the larger world around him.
  14. Top hat for life.
  15. *You’re You’re welcome,
  16. On the contrary, I think he 100% had to know. It was part of the plan to make the inmates think they were free now. It’s why he was uber-pissed that Irv was trying to drown his boss. That wouldn’t work out well for Milkshake and he knew it.
  17. This. The ability to switch between the character’s innie and outtie almost entirely through facial expressions is really outstanding. They’ve also set up a great conflict going forward on multiple levels. Love hexagon?
  18. What do we say here about speaking out? "The squeaky wheel gets the grease." You know what they say in Japan? "The nail that sticks out, gets hammered down." There's all you need to know about that.

A buddy took his daughter last night and said it was pretty good. He said there are several never before seen live Zeppelin performances that they play in their entirety. So it's probably worth the price of admission just for that.
  20. It can, but it's still part of the problem.
