  1. You can get a "conforming" version. I have lob and sand in the eye2 mold but with updated grooves. hard to type this without saying legal or illegal and those terms don't apply.
  2. Still have a full set on "non conforming" eye-2's upstairs in the attic. I actually met Karsten once during a tour of Ping plant in 90's. He asked if anyone was an engineer and I raised my hand since I was. Can't remember what we talked about but spent about 5 minutes chatting on the floor.
  3. Well the sixties had a lot of drugs. Looks like some them made it to GM ad department
  4. I am thinking they have to. Hilton changed the point game a lot in the past few years but I think one of the changes was they had to offer a standard room at standard points and that was 60K. On the website it also had a delux room for 580,000.
  5. YES!!!!!!! Tuesday practice round. May have booked hotel. Hilton wanted 1200 bucks for Hampton on Washington but it also showed up as 60,000 points. I played around and don't think it was an error. Other Hiltons nearby had similar rates and similar points. Grabbed it and got confirmation email
  6. Prior to early 1980's there were no minimum requirements for conference games. No idea why but there weren't. As an example Auburn played 5 or 6 in 1970 and 71 and then 8 in 1972. In 1972 the only loss was to LSU and Auburn only played LSU like once a decade back then. Alabama played nine that year. There were no rules on how many or who you played. SEC champion was winning percentage. Still mad about 1972. Auburn was 7-1 and beat Alabama. Alabama was 8-1 because they usually added an extra game and they "won" the SEC with a better percentage.
  7. same exact thought
  8. I may have posted this on the old site but for my Sub I just drove up to Dallas and dropped it off at Rolex. It cost more but I have piece of mind that everything is correct. Forgot to add - it your date range you may have the older tritium dial. Don't let them swap them for the newer Luminova
  9. I posted in that thread around April 2010. Right after knee surgery and on crutches. I rememebr being able to park and get in line around 10:45 and be in first ten.
  10. Why would you get a branded title if you replace a door lock?
  11. Definately not an MGA From last week - MGA convention
  12. Almost every estate or garage sale has an old 5 gallon gas can for sale for like 2 bucks. And yes I do mine. When moving I had the Honda dealer attempt it. Took three ( yes three) attempts to get the oil between the marks. Apparently pulling the dipstick isn't part of the routine
  13. Looks vaguely familiar Mine is 45 and doesn't have the text on barrel. The serial number on mine is about 1915
  14. I like em. And I not close to scratch. Been playing one degree closed for a while. I also bought a PXG five wood last year and haven't mesed with it yet but going to loft it down to 4 wood and drop my 3 wood. Read a lot of the better golfers are dropping 3 wood with todays ball technology. 4 or 5 wood gets more height and almost same distance since technology keeps ball in air longer
  15. Trying again because edit timed out I am trying to match Iris Blue. Every one present was slightly different and every owner said they matched the original paint by using a section that doesn't vhange - behind dash etc. This one was a very special model. They had a racing version but the general population kept blowing the engine so they created a special version with all the race stuff but the standard engine. Only a couple hundred were ever made

  17. Went to Memphis for the MGA National Convention. Lots of MGA's - they made over 100,000 so a lot still run. However this event has some higher end ones. Lines of cars Some came in trailers and some had trailers
  18. Coming in late and trying to understand what happened. It looks like the tide was underestimated and you had to make your own way out? others were not so lucky? If correct - how did you mis judge the tide so bad? i thought you were a frequent visitor there
  19. That look outstanding. Too late now but hopefully you put some black plastic down to cut back on future weeds
  20. One the subject of shots to win Open - almost no one remembers Jerry Pate's approach. they might remember his pants however also the shot by Pavin on 18 to clinch the Open gets mentioned but he did miss the putt
  21. A is the correct answer. Most people have no idea how darn good that shot was. As background - final round of US Open and slim lead. The wind is absolutely crazy off the ocean. He hits the pin and 2 inches away to seal the Open
  22. Teen takes tank to prom with flaming unicycle Darth Vader in front. Some of people makes an entrance
  23. At college in Birmingham there was one that showed XXX stuff. No idea how they kept the teenagers from hiding nearby
  24. Might try here https://www.jeepforum.com/forums/jeep-grand-cherokee-commander-forums.115/
