  1. Yeah - unfortunate that the green paint turned out to be that way. It was a gorgeous color when new. Front bumper puzzles me. Mine is 2001 but I thouhgt the only choices were painted or chrome. Your looks like it has a lower lip of something else
  2. Unfortunately I remember in the late 70's you could get one for 500 bucks. And have sevral to choose from.
  3. I remember seeing that live and laughing my butt off. Ben Dreith became a legend for that call
  4. I have a rider on my homeowners for Rolex and golf clubs
  5. Not sure how deep that is or how deep you may take it but you probably need to look at shoring up the walls - expecially since you have small kid helping.
  6. I don't remember any spoiled girls with Vegas because we had several. Dad would buy them cheap and sleeve the engine and then you had a pretty reliable teenager car. I may have set a record - mine was sold at 130K wihtout sleeving it and it only let me down once - water pump failed on the way home from Auburn. Luckily it was a very easy car to work on. Put a new pump on while in a parking lot and drove home.
  7. or Jimmy Hoffa
  8. Just ordered a callaway apex 21 hybrid - cause it was on sale at preowned. Trading in a couple of Pings I picked up as trade bait when Golfsmith was closing.
  9. Isn't that still under warranty?
  10. and it's now 98 bucks.. Very suspicious
  11. I have similar higher end iron that I got in 2000 from an outdoor store on Airport. Replacing the cushions evry two years is perfect. After 20+ I need to powdercoat them for the next 20 years
  12. Plus very little of the muti function turn signal and ten other functions on the stalk.
  13. I've decided the off season is really off this year
  14. Exactly... I second the use of explosives and video
  15. Palisades zoysia is shade tolerant and drought tolerant
  16. For a minute I thought you meant The Quarry in San Antonio. Played that a few years ago for a business meeting in August. Their are 4-5 holes that are way below ground level so it was about 120 degrees and no wind. Only time I ever remember in a scramble when we took the first decent shot. No sense hanging around for everyone to hit. I called those holes The Frying Pan
  17. Welcome to the world of british cars...
  18. My right arm says hold my beer. Freak accident in the first hour of black diamond week at Taos. Nothing to do with getting ego ahead of skill. Hit a small rut at 5 mph, fell on right side and snapped the upper right arm clean across and split the stub into the shoulder. Didn't even knock the skiies off. Sometimes it happens. It happened on an icy slope and guessing there was a large rock under the ice
  19. Well in 1980 the finals between LA and Philly were on tape delay. Whole different league after Magic an Bird showed up
  20. Correct - and then forgot to order coleslaw with them
  21. My state farm didn't work like that but probably an exception. They would not accept stated value until the restoration was finished. Left me in limbo since I had already paid for over half the work. If the shop burned down I would have been out that amount. Haggerty had no issues
  22. You hit the subject on the head. The problem iwth the meniscus is lack of blood flow to a lot of it. That's why they snip out the tear. If the area has blood they sew it back
  23. Started skiing a few years after the first knee surgery which had both sides opened up. No issues. Tore meniscus in same knee in 2010. It totally depends on what type of tear (bucket handle etc). Bucket handle has quick recivery because they cut out the tear. Other types get the tear sewn back. Less long term issues but longer rehab. I have had no issues in 12 years. Haven't skiied on it but I would have no fear trying.
  24. Nashville is claiming their 1990's stadium needs replacing. Man their must be different standards for construction materials for a building that lasts 100 years and a stadium that doesn't make 30
