  2. I agree,, Was replying and remmebered someone else thought it was him
  3. Front left is Henry Conte?, Henry Silva is left of Jack Palance. Not Don Rickles but no idea who edit - should have looked at whole thread before replying
  4. Is 12 actually on the green on did they just put it in the creek since that's where most of the tee shots will wind up?
  5. The "Holy Shit" thread is farther down the page.
  6. Probably not a popular opinion but think, as an "outsider" it's easy to ask - Where would Texas have been in the 2000's with a different coach? And part of that is naming the different coach. It's too easy to say he stayed too long etc... but his record is pretty darn good including a MNC. Obviously he had some huge blowout losses against rivals but a whole lot of schools would take his record over who they had. Trying hard to remember who else was available back in 1997 and not coming up with a lot. You can always wish you hired Saban instead of MSu grabbing him around that time but he was not well known. Stoops was actually the "hot" assistant but he was still at Florida when Brown was hired. Not coming up with a lot of names that would have been a better choice in 1997. All of the above in the poll is an acceptable answer to me
  7. OP should have known better...
  8. One the more interesting parodies was National Lampoon in early 70's. VW had run some sort of commercial that showed a VW Beetle floating on water. Lampoon created a parody that said something like "If Ted Kennedy drove a VW he would be president". VW sued and won..
  9. It was tremendous and that's from someone who lived the original movie. This rocked because of the cast and because they did it live - I was amazed how well they were without a net amd how a lot of the songs sounded almost the same as the album. The choreography was amazing.
  10. One more from 1968... I was too young to remember it but 1968 was just an bitch of a year. Literally you never knew what was going happen from month to month. January - LBJ decides not to run March - McCarthy picks up momentum in primaries April - Assassination of King May- RFK wins primaries and gain momentum June - RFK - assasinated August - Democratic convention riots November - Nixon elected December - Apollo circles moon
  11. 20 years ago on Labor day weekend. Dropped over to Grand National at Auburn on a spur of the moment - need to play some golf. Walked on and shot 81 from the blues. Don;t remember anything spectacualr but obviously I didn't screw up either. Wish I could play that well now but time marches on.
