  1. Reminder, 3 counties that i think will report early in Georgia are Hall, Cherokee, Forsyth, if Trump can't meet or exceed 65% it bodes well.
  2. I haven't seen @YChang post in a bit, but I'm curious to know the mood in Taiwan (I thought I read that he was there). Apologies in advance if I have that wrong. I would think they nervous as shit. I can't imagine the nerves of the Ukrainians, Poles, Latvians, Estonians, etc.
  3. God Damn it, now I have to like and LSU guy. And for fucksakes Jones you went to Duke?
  4. Tech group on strike, so maybe no? and obligatory - "And it's bad news for Joe Biden"
  5. Well for fucks sake, this isn't a Darden's property.
  6. well, he always scores the touchdowns, but he never fumbles.
  7. I hope visiting the place of my birth gave you serenity.
  8. 3 polling locations were impacted, 30 min extensions. All threats deemed non credible.
  9. I think it was a wise move to stick the the issues of the day, and not all the precedent breaking.
  10. During the Falcons game this week (no salt in wound intended) on the radio she had ads geared towards farmers.
  11. Hard to know for sure. Seen some good things, Gwinnett 30k over expected at noon, Dekalb on 44k total at noon, nothing clear elsewhere, and veracity is an issue period. I would, but that's me.
  12. And immediately after I posted that GA SOS office states 700k have now voted in Georgia as of just before 3.
  13. Per the AJC and their live blog, 1.1 to 1.2 million expected today, but difficult to say because evening after work voting may push this well higher. Despite the bomb threats, things are operating smoothly. If this bears out, the magic number in Georgia will likely by somewhere between 2.7 million and 2.9 million.
  14. Kennesaw State is in Cobb County, enrollment 30k Alexandra Son (right) and Anna Brown (left), both 18-year-old first-time voters from Kennesaw State University, turned out to the polls driven by personal stakes in this election. Son, concerned for the future of women’s rights, spoke passionately about wanting a safer and more united America. “I have gone through things that in the Supreme Court they overturned, so it was more of a thing of, like, the safety of me, my little sisters, my future daughters,” she said, citing her immigrant family and the importance of humane policies in her voting decisions. Reflecting on past elections, Son recalled feeling powerless as a fifth-grader watching the 2016 election unfold. “I was sitting on the couch, and my parents were, like, screaming… I was like, damn, I wish I was 18 and I could actually vote and do something about it… This election is nerve-wracking, but it’s special because we could have our first woman president and have someone speak for us.” Brown, also feeling the weight of this election, explained that for her and many in her generation, it’s about preserving women’s rights she’s always known to have. Studying environmental science, Brown is particularly concerned about climate change and sees it as an urgent priority. “It’s something that needs more attention, and the fact Harris even talks about it means a lot,” she said, expressing hope for leadership that takes climate issues seriously.
  15. He's such an unaware dumbfuck. Kemp is the standard bearer for the Republican Party in about 6 weeks, why the hell would he help him.
  16. It's actually interestingly counter intuitive, but state wide a low turn out would actually be in our favor in a big way. Obviously we don't want that in Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett. However, beyond that, it would be great news. Getting actual turnout out of Atlanta is shit today, so nothing on Lamar County with it's 1200 votes, as you can imagine.
  17. We aren't losing in Georgia. I said it about 30 posts ago, but if this helps you, I can do it again.
  18. Not at all surprising to me. With only 8.3% of the EV vote being prior day of, which tracks very Republican, it stands to reason that election day turnout would skew R. But at the same time, it also matters where this is happening. Gwinnett County was 30k over expected as of a couple of hours ago. Projected numbers on turnout overall for today are sparse, but I'm looking for more. Part of the issue that makes tracking this difficult for anyone beyond the state is places like Dekalb County that have over 100 polling locations. I wouldn't get too up in arms over this, because the data right now, either way is by and large guess work, and people certainly have an agenda. I read earlier we will start to get SOS updates around 5. All I've seen to this point was that as of noonish more than 500k had voted.
  19. Not surprised, I project a total of between 5.4 million and 5.7 million in the prediction thread and went with 5.7. Basically, I think we will get between those. Gwinnett County (Metro Atlanta Dem stronghold) was 30k over before noon today.
  20. Well, may I ask how many Republicans you know that do follow the rules?
