That's the one, I presume, though defer to those that know better. I'll be honest, while I've known plenty of gay people, though I've never personally know someone that is trans, and I didn't know that "tranny" was considered a slur, I honestly thought it was just short of hand for transvestite, until it was pointed out here. I feel bad because in the past I might have unintentionally offended someone in the real world (and obviously here, again apologies) by making that comment off-hand with no consideration that it would be taken as a slur. After it was pointed out to me here, I've tried to completely leave the word behind.
I don't think anyone that posts here is out to offend, be mean, or certainly use a slur, I think in this case there is an issue of ignorance on all our parts. Personally, I accept people for who they are and want to be, and support them in exercising their liberty. Sometimes I don't understand it, and sometimes I don't get all the language right with it.
