  1. I disagree, but because they will only try this if it's remotely close, I don't think it's going to be. I think we will over-perform even the more optimistic polling, which at that point send most of these folks running for the shade, which won't be anywhere near Trump. Make absolutely no mistake though, we will need to remain steadfast for the forseeable future, as they have set the stage to make all this possible in future elections as well as this one. We need to win the battle in our immediate site lines, but this political fight is far from over, and won't be until lots of judges leave the bench while we have Democratic control. The damage of the unholy union of Trump and McConnell will take years, perhaps decades, for us to rid ourselves of them.
  2. That's a great question, I haven't read a ton on it, but my general understanding is storage and security. How many does that include? Obviously, they aren't going into strategic locations, is there another way they verify conditions, etc? Generally speaking, not just in terms of military capability, you can judge just about anything (a company, government, etc) by their maintenance standards and practices. I can't imagine that Russia's was good, but to the point of being derelict to cause safety concerns? We certainly haven't heard anything like that prior, nor now, and I have to imagine that would have leaked by now. I think it's a pipe dream to think that they don't at least have a percentage of working weapons, mind you that has nothing to do with the delivery method (which we've seen that part of theirs is shit, but capable to a degree). I get the impulse based on their overall performance to think of them as paper tiger's in this regard, but these two things are likely to be vastly disconnected.
  3. A question for those in the know, but wouldn't we have some idea based on the treaty weapon inspections? I realize Russia withdrew from that 2 years ago, but that info it seems to me, would be sufficient to have at least a pretty good idea of their state.
  4. The biscuits are healthy (I kid) and delicious. I'm a big fan of the cajun chicken biscuit, get a Cherwine to go with it, quite good.
  5. That Montell Williams is a gateway to power. I mean forget about all the other individual achievement thru out her life, both academic and professional. Nope, what got her on the path to power was Montell Williams, perfectly sound logic.
  6. I'll take proof of concept, it's a pretty major accomplishment, not to mention extremely dangerous.
  7. They did achieve the highest orbit at 870 miles, about 17 more than Gemini 11. (the lunar trips apparently don't count as the weren't true orbits but rather lunar transjection burn starts. So that have that record.
  8. At this point I'm just going only acknowledge that its a bunch of talented people at Space X doing great things, that happened to work for an asshole. (Ironically, sound like most companies).
  9. I hope the suits perform well. To my knowledge, these will be the first new suits in decades. I can't even begin to imagine the difficulty in designing a space suit, because after all, it really isn't just a suit, it's a spacecraft in it's own right. This is another technical challenge for going to the moon and beyond that seemingly we are well behind with.
  10. Gotta give to Aiden's father for this. It's a shit deal his kid was killed in accident, but not allowing them to pervert or dishonor his memory is a great thing.
  11. It's almost like these guys have no idea of how to converse with actual women.
  12. I don't have a daughter, so that's fair. I also just don't like her music, which is fine by the way, music is completely subjective, a lot of people certainly do enjoy it. Good for them. I would point out, that having a pop singer influence an election is weird as hell, but I'm glad she's on the right side of things.
  13. Apparently, these same guys destroyed a cell tower earlier in the week for 30k of rubles. Honestly, with Russia employing a predominantly mercenary army, this may be one of the most cost effective ways to put this to an end, start covertly paying them to destroy any and all equipment.
  14. I don't agree with all this, because I don't know any of the history with her, not really anyway. I will say, I don't get it with her, I don't like her music, and I don't think it's remotely healthy we seem to have so many people extremely obsessed with this woman. All that having been said, at the very minimum, she on the right side of this as far as I'm concerned and I appreciate her for that. Generally speaking, taking a political stance is bad for business, so that sort of flies in the face of the idea she is single minded concerned with her own well being financially (by the way, that alone makes her absolutely nothing like Trump). In this battle, we'll take all the help we can get.
  15. I hope Joe has one hell of a retirement and enjoys the shit out it. I, personally will always be grateful to the guy, he beat Trump, and now via his actions, we are going to do it again.
  16. Middle age marriage is tough, you have to be willing to be an unselfish partner and up for new things.
  17. The undecided crowd is a lie in the polling world, and it keeps them (the pollsters) cooking. Most all these folks aren't undecided, but unaffiliated who already know who they are voting for. If you ever take one these poll questionnaires you wind up down several different worm hole, one is base republican, one is base democrat, the indy voters worm hole is designed by the pollster groups to secure as many "undecided" as possible. However, they never ask you directly who'd you vote for in this set of questions, and it's deliberate.
  18. He is a fool, but beyond that, he's going to be polling so poorly he'll practically beg for one more crack at it. Also, remember on September 26th the redacted portion of the Jan 6th indictment drops, so in this month alone, shit stands to get worse for him.
  19. Let them know there are ample opportunities in the coal industry.
  20. Yes, but the Swifty factor just entered the chat.
