  1. Make it 4 tries and a final, 33-17.
  2. He's got a hat trick this morning, USA ahead 28-12 late in the second, with a man advantage.
  3. I'd just like to point out that somewhere in Indiana right now, there is a better than zero chance that Mike Pence is busy molesting an ottoman.
  4. There is a beyond great chance that all three of these miss the election due to amputations.
  5. At least the hillbillies from West Virginia have the decency to burn these.
  6. That's tough to turn down for 30 to 45 seconds of work.
  7. It didn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure that out, hell Larry Holmes could figure that out.
  8. Not sure if Kenya is generally considered good, but they are playing the Australians pretty tough.
  9. Not sure, but I am positive the pass code is 696969
  10. I got a family lineage filled with Irish dipshits and hoodlums, but hey, I might be distantly related to Kamala, so that's cool.
  11. We should encourage them to attempt ladder recreations, remember a fall can be fatal from 4 feet. I have taken OSHA courses.
  12. This is the sort of invested engagement that wins. I love it. I was ride or die with Joe, but no way this sort of engagement happens without him stepping aside.
  13. Hey Mike, fuck you. Russia is targeting civilians, doesn't matter of what religion. People of other faiths or none at all are also, guess what, humans.
  14. I like this idea on a lot of levels, but mainly because Merrick Garland hits the bricks. While we are spitballing, Obama for SCOTUS sounds like a good start.
  15. It's probably a pretty mixed bag now. Given the time period (guys with careers in the 80s and early 90s), most of the players likely never spent a day on a college campus, which is considerably different than today.
  16. About 20 years ago I worked with a company that had an job placement deal with a firm that represented MLB players union. Mind you, many of these guys didn't make the millions most all these guys do now. To say that they were clueless and lost would be a bit of an understatement. I do have to imagine that after spending your whole life being told how great you are, then to suddenly have that gone, would be tough. The ultimate problem for most them was that they aren't grounded in any sort of reality beyond baseball. No experience = CEO in 6 months! I walked away from that with the impression that many of these guys are functionally illiterate.
  17. If you wouldn't mind sharing any future itinerary you may have the rest of us would appreciate it.
  18. Trust me, you'd know if you had, you can't wash the stupid out of your ears once you have.
  19. You don't play your ace in the hole until the timing is right.
  20. This is correct, but with a bit more nuance. The growth of Atlanta is so enormous it's more or less overwhelming the rural districts at an even faster rate than any anticipated. However, it's not just general growth, it's who it's attracting, which is educated, younger, and way more diverse. Conversely, while North Carolina has grown, I would venture a guess that the rural growth rate, particularly on the coast and the mountains has to do with older people retiring in both areas. While, Charlotte, Raleigh, and a to a lesser degree research triangle have grown, it hasn't outpaced ruralish retirement growth.
