I don't think that's it all. The MSG shitshow was just gravy on top. I'll put it this way, if you've ever pissed off a woman, thought nothing of it, only for her to stew on it and basically quietly declare a jihad on your ass, you know what this is. Somehow, the old adage, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", needs to be amended to include attempting to take away their rights.
Republicans have incorrectly thought that they could somehow take away the rights of women and just go ho hum about their business. Any married man, or man that has been married, should easily recognize just how bad of an idea that is.
I've been hawkish on Democratic chances the entire time, but after seeing the data, and now seeing all this play out, I believe I was wrong in the sense that I underestimated just how big a deal this part of the whole equation really is. When I think about how angry women are, and how I'd feel if the shoe were on the foot, it's pretty easy to see what is really happening.
Women aren't just about to be truly equal in the election process, the future of politics may well be asking first what it is they would like.
