  1. Then be glad your team was never an independent, playing with a front-loaded schedule...
  2. Many actually do, though not to the degree of public, more secular institutions. I know BYU does a fair amount of research, though it's aim is more towards elite undergrad engagement and top tier post grad programs such as the MBA, LAW, Accounting and MPA programs. Notre Dame does a fair amount of research too, despite being religiously affiliated. I don't. they brought it upon themselves with their anti-religious bigotry.
  3. AAU doesn't mean shit, as they will not include private and religious institutions and research $$$ does not equal quality of academics and BYU's programs (such as Business, Accounting (Elite) MBA, MPA, Law School, etc) overall are ranked higher and are more highly regarded then Baylor's.
  4. Depends...(nothing against the olds ), Most of the LDS membership is outside of the USA but you get a good mix of political affiliations in the USA membership
  5. This, it's fucked up, though this trend is dying off with all the jobs arriving at the Silicone Slopes.
  6. LOL, good luck with that. You're not staying through 2025. 2024 at the latest.
  7. ...and one final trip to Provo? This possibility has me enchubbened.
  8. They recruit (and exploit) the students pretty heavily and put ads in the student papers.
  9. I was a student when this came out. I remember the backlash and letters to the editor and opinion pieces in The Daily Universe (the student newspaper) about it. Also came out around the same time as the Southpark episode with similar results. I did summer (door-to-door) sales back in 2002 in Cincinnati. I think I knocked on more doors in one week, then I did on my entire mission in Utah. I sold for them back when they were APEX Alarm LLC and then APX and I was a young and naive college student. They would screw us out of much of our year end paychecks, so Vivint was built on dishonesty.
  10. There are a ton of LDS in Texas, especially in DFW (and especially in Collin County), Houston and Austin. with roughly about 800k+ in the state altogether based on church records. OU has never beaten us, hopefully the trend continues on 11/18 to 0-3 all-time. We have their number for some reason.
  11. There's also a great micro brewery a few miles to the south in Springville or Mapleton. Edit: Strap Tank Brewery in Springville. There's also one in Lehi over by where Footloose was filmed.
  12. You just made me spit beer all over my keyboard, that's hilaroius!
  13. Based on what, misinformed stereotypes? Nothing minor about what he did was minor and I think you'd find that pretty much all LDS would agree that what this man did was anything BUT minor. By respecting and honoring the divine nature of women rather then objectifying, degrading or abusing them ( or in this case, murdering them)? Nothing righteous or in line with the LDS faith about what this man did. And most LDS would agree with me that this man murdered his family and should have never had a gun in his possession. Agreed. How many times do we have to let these types of situations happen before we wake up and realize that red flag laws will save lives? That's ludicruous, Mormons (aka LDS) don't believe in that. They teach that man has no more (less) control over a woman's salvation then she has on her own.
  14. Based on what? Mormons put women on a pedistal in LDS culture.
  15. So this bitch actually thinks someone can just override the laws and electorate and declare her the winner on a whim? The grift is obvious. https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2023/1/14/2147149/-Kari-Lake-demands-judge-appoints-her-AZ-Governor-or-America-will-become-Venezuela
  16. She's in need of a kidney transplant, but I'm not really worried because her body hasn't rejected an organ in several years.
  17. Definitely should be on a Saturday. Why not? Lack of state pride? The more teams from this state appear in the title game, the better it reflects on Texas talent overall.
  18. Should be interesting if UGA comes in taking TCU lightly. I personally will be rooting for TCU, because a natty would give the new Big 12 a much needed boost in credibility, plus I'm sick of only the SEC winning all of the titles. and for a change, we have a non ACC/B1G/SEC team playing in the game for a change. Go Frogs!
