  1. No, but he'll roll with it...
  2. This thread has made my OCD 10x worse, have to avoid alot of different shit now.
  3. They can have all the lawyers in the world and it wouldn't matter, as long as the Big XII abides by the terms of the contract. How is UT/OU being taken for a ride by not being released early from their contract/GOR? What incentive does the XII have in releasing OU/UT early from their binding agreements? Not trying to be a dick or anything.
  4. No, all I'm saying is that they agreed to the terms in the contract(s) so they are legally bound to what they agreed to and according to the terms of the contract there is no way the Big XII could legally force OU and UT to play only road games. As long as the conference keeps its end of the contract, they aren't skating on thin ice.
  5. But they agreed to the provision that states that departing members forfeit their vote, hence they couldn't have objected to the additions.
  6. Tennessee won it in 98, not 97. 97 was a split between Michigan and Nebraska.
  7. 05 Texas Just kidding.... That was a badass team with a badass player/leader in VY. I was a student at BYU at the time and made sure to rub it into the faces of USC fans (the California students) with my Sports Illustrated Rose Bowl National Champion Ship hat and shirt, lol. Texas was my #2 favorite team at the time.
  8. BINGO, It's like it says on the t-shirt, "I aint gay but $20 is $20." A national title is a national title.
  9. It's no more of a "MNC" then any other programs MNC.
  10. This Coaches Poll is bullshit. How are we unranked given how much experience we are returning?
  11. We offered to play Oklahoma in our bowl game in 1984 but they declined in order to play Washington instead, we then dominated Washington the following season in our game with them. It's not like we purposefully avoided anyone. A national title is still a national title and thus, I'll gladly claim it.
  12. Roger was the creative genius behind the major albums, once he left, David had to improvise and since his was more of a musical genius, he made due with his guitar. The Final Cut being the final album with Roger Waters being a possible indicator that they may have peaked with him in The Wall album, who knows what other albums reflecting his creative genius would have come about had he swallowed his pride and stuck with the band. I saw him in concert in Las Vegas in 2017 and much of his show was bashing Donald Trump.
  13. So is this what "spam" was in the 1950s?
  14. You must not be following along. We're not considered P5 anymore. Bad timing for you all. Ok, P3 or P4, whatever the consolidated conference landscape will be.
  15. A school, located right in the middle of Houston that has been elevated to P5 status isn't a sleeping giant? I have to disagree. You're going to see more higher rated players that they usually miss out on, staying home to play.
  16. But elevate that school to the P5 in one of the top hotbed states for football talent, and you have sort of a sleeping giant. They've already shown they could compete at the top as a G5 by beating Auburn and nearly beating LSU a few years ago, but with improved recruiting, that program could rival Miami, FSU and Florida to a degree. I think both them and Houston are in the same "sleeping giant" boat due to their locations.
  17. "...at the same time..." -Lawrence from Office Space
  18. ...and Oklahoma fans. They were the other team that season. in the running, hence Barry Switzer's "Bo Didley Tech" comment.
  19. Why not use the old BCS formula for deciding the teams and the seeding and get rid of the committee bullshit?
  20. I'm kind of torn on this, on one hand, I'd love to see Utah get left out in the G5 cold to fade back into irrelevance and obscurity, on the other hand though, the intense BYU/Utah Holy War rivalry would add a boost to the conference, especially around Thanksgiving and boost the overall credibility of the Big 12 as a power conference.
