  1. Several? Unless I'm missing something, you have four total non-conference games that would fit that narrative: home and homes against Oregon and Bama. Not 4 series, 4 total games. I'm sure those matchups will mean just as much as playing your in state rival. But Tulsa is on the schedule going forward. I guess that makes up for it? Because nobody nationally is going to give a rat's ass about 95% of the games Oklahoma State plays. That's one that people will tune in for. It's not hurting OU's profile to miss out on Bedlam. Gundy is 3-15 against them. He's just being a pussy.
  2. They played two ranked teams over that span and lost the only two remotely difficult true road games they had. Excuse me for not being particularly impressed by going 13-3 against this murderer's row: Arkansas State SMU @Tulsa @Cincinnati Iowa State (3) Texas UCF @Kansas (L) @Oklahoma State (L) West Virginia @BYU Texas Christian (14) Arizona (L) Temple Houston Tulane Nobody has gotten more mileage out of winning one Texas/OU game than Venables. Good for him, I suppose.
  3. That pussy won't play OU. He should send himself pecans.
  4. 108th in total offense after three home games against Temple, Houston and Tulane. Nah, nothing to worry about. The turnover margin is putting a lot of lipstick on that pig. Let's see if it's sustainable. Tennessee is touted to have the best defensive line in the sec, maybe the country. OU was a mess on their oline even before all the injuries. Doesn't seem like a great matchup for the sooners. But night game at home and all that...
  5. Michigan might actually be that bad. They are still better than A&M, but they are trotting out some Shawn Watson level offense. Made the QB switch to Orji this week. Pretty good defense, though. I guess we will find out more about them against USC on Saturday. I suppose if they beat USC, Texas got to play them when their QB was bad like Millroe last year.
  6. I had no idea that's where Harris ended up. After all the handwringing over that recruitment, that's pretty great. And as fantastic as that part was, the DE stumbling over himself when he realizes Arch kept the ball may have been even better. My man was on some serious roller skates.
  7. We are never winning the Masters with a China doll at QB.
  8. Kansas lost their oc to Penn State. He was really good. He made them look a lot better than they were. It's not the portal, it's the brain drain.
  9. I have been dragging my feet to pull the plug on uverse for months now and finally did today. Fuck em. Just saved myself like $150/month.
  10. To be fair, with each new generation of college students it gets more difficult to fake that shit to get in a bar. Thanks Bin Laden. You obviously don't have a college aged kid. It's terrifying what they can purchase online.
  11. Yeah... that one killed me: "Struggling on both lines, elite skill position wise. Very Tom Hermanish class." They've been saying this shit for years. I hope they keep believing it. We have five OL committed, two 4-star DT and two 4-star DE. Have they looked at their offensive line room and ours? I'm fairly certain our entire second team would start for them.
  12. So did they put out an injury report without Weigman one day and then with him the next? I can't imagine they are dumb enough to be playing fast and loose with the injury report, but putting their starting qb on it the day after not listing him seems like a rather big deal. These dipshits do realize that the purpose of the injury report is to prevent insider information for gambling purposes, and all the temptations and nefarious shit that comes with it, right? Elko just might be a blithering idiot.
  13. Sark rolling into Georgia like General Sherman. About fucking time.
  14. The only reason they showed up early was to collect overtime.
  15. Elko is probably a decent football man, but he's made quite a few unforced errors that have little to do with actually coaching football. He has done a particularly poor job of managing expectations. Even if he didn't outright say in a press conference that they were in a rebuild, he should have leaked it off the record and let Chin Pubes and the other minions deliver the news. Instead, their fanbase thinks they have a contending team based off of bullshit and the mirage of their recruiting rankings. His Bill Snyder-like media paranoia isn't going to build him any goodwill amongst the $9.95 crowd, either. Eventually, even the most dick slobbering of them all will turn on him if he's not scratching their backs. He's costing them money if they can't give their subs anything to chew on and its bruising all of their egos.
  16. They aren't putting up a lot of points without the benefit of turnovers or special teams points. It happened against Temple. I guess it could happen against a much better Tulane team with a young qb. But if Tulane plays anything close to a clean game, I think Oklahoma has their work cut out for them. I would be stunned if their offense breaks out from what I've seen over the first two weeks.
  17. That press conference was bleak. Low energy, passive aggressive, bad body language. I'm here for all of it. They are screwed on the offensive line and he knows it, and there's nothing he can do but take his lumps and hope the young guys get better in a hurry. Bendenbaugh has put a million guys into the league. There's no excuse for them to be this bad on ol. Horrible mismanagement of that group be it recruiting, NIL, or the portal. BV is in year three. This is some Charlie Strong level negligence.
  18. I thought his buyout was $76 million. But hey, what's $14 million when you're just setting it on fire anyway?
  19. Oh was he on the team? I don't remember that.
  20. The one thing 2008 had over 2024 is Earl Thomas. That sumbitch was everywhere on the field. The corners were better too: Aaron Williams, Curtis Brown and Chykie Brown. That RB room also had Fozzy. Both he and Chris O played in the league. But overall, 2024 appears to be a much deeper, well rounded team and the OL comparison is comical. 2008 largely overachieved, which is what made them so much fun. They just refused to lose and if not for 1 or 2 backbreaking plays vs. Tech, I think they win the national title.
  21. LOL they just extended him this summer. They would have to eat about $40 million if they fired him after this year. That's more than half a Jimbo. Ain't happening.
  22. On the beans thing... use chicken broth instead of water. Game changer.
  23. If that motherfucker wants to flee the country, I'll buy his plane ticket.
