  1. In fairness, he was probably doing this before the Saban announcement anyway.
  2. I think we'd want someone younger than Pete Carrol to coach Dline, but he and Sark do have history.
  3. Future bag secured after playing in 26/32 of their games this year. Season ending injury coming in 5.... 4.... 3....
  4. No. You're confusing him with @South Austin 's mom.
  5. Impressive loss by Dallas tonight at home by 20 against a shell of Memphis sans Morant, JJJ and Smart who left the game half way through. Oh wait, I forgot Memphis is better without Ja.
  6. I don't think Wemby is as bothered about it as you are.
  7. Lawyer -- read the fine print. We don't have Ole Miss on the schedule next year.
  8. I'll take as much action as you're willing to put up that we don't lose to Ole Miss next year.
  9. Looking toward the future a bit... the Ja Morant injury might be a good thing for the Spurs depending on the lottery gods. Spurs get Toronto's FRP this year if it's outside of the top 6. Memphis will now join Detroit, SA, Charlotte, Washington, and Portland in the tankathon while Toronto still appears to be trying to win. That puts the Raptors solidly at 7 where the odds start to skew toward the pick going to the Spurs (ping pong balls willing). You can argue about how valuable that pick is in this particular draft, but there's a decent chance that this pick wouldn't convey otherwise. Bird in the hand, so to speak.
  10. Generous? Try ridiculous? We lost to an average OU team this season, got a favorable call from the refs that sealed a win against a Houston team that had no business being on the same field as us, squeaked by K-State when they made a bone head decision to go for two, and held on for dear life against a moribund TCU. I'm not one of those SEC honks, but the schedule (especially when you add a roadie against Michigan and two true rival jihad games on the road) is going to be more difficult. We are losing all of our best skill position threats on offense, and our DT's that controlled the run game against every team we faced. I love what's coming back on the oline and QB, but there are a lot of unknowns. The expanded playoffs change everything though. That, to me, is the only goal of the regular season -- get to the tournament. There's a chance that Texas could lose 3 and still make the playoffs but I don't care how they get there, as long as they get there.
  11. It's easy to shit on A&M/Elko for their insatiable appetite for bread, but what are their options here? He's been put in a bad spot by all the attrition and they've got to fill out their roster. Maybe they get lucky on a couple of these guys and they turn out to be plus players for them. Maybe some of those guys are just on the practice squad. Lord knows they have the roster spots available. Unless the guy is a complete knucklehead and killing team chemistry, there's not a lot of downside or opportunity cost here.
  12. Gonna have to go with BO on this one. It literally was an answer to his question. The problem was that it was the absolutely wrong answer and it made no sense, but it was technically, literally an answer to his question.
  13. the bonkers part of that post for those who don’t want to click:
  14. 155 combined starts? Shit, I’m pretty sure Jake Majors has that many on his own.
  15. Gonna need confirmation from Ketch until I believe this.
  16. Alternative headline: Gilbert Arenas Still Batshit Crazy
  17. You clearly forgot about Vandy, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Kentucky.
  18. When you play as many FCS teams as they have over the past few years, it makes sense.
  19. Grabbing Giannis by the waist. Clearly that's a foul.
  20. Yes. I find it funny too how the media is covering for him, especially after the NBA rigged the lottery for him to go to one of the smallest markets in the league. Wemby's got a horrible attitude problem. Definitely a head case, just a big pampered French baby bitch. Red flags EVERYWWHERE. If we're being honest, the Spurs probably should have cut ties with him after he assaulted Brittney Spears in Vegas. I'm sure he'll be out of the league in a matter of days, that is, if all of his lower extremities don't spontaneously combust first. In the meantime... there's also this:
  21. We didn't really see a ton of Carter this season, but he looked serviceable when he did play. Texas needs bodies there.
  22. I love it that wemby isn’t backing down from Giannis. Seems like the competition is elevating his game. I think this wemby thing gonna turn out ok.
