  1. I'm no expert, but Georgia just might have a minor culture issue.
  2. PM Ian Boyd. And for those of me on dark mode, I'm pasting your stats sans formatting:
  3. I could only stomach the first half and about half of the third quarter. This team still can’t shoot for shit but half the roster thinks they’re Steph Curry. Castle is going to be impactful defensively right off the bat. He is a very smart player. You don’t often see rookies in their first game calling switches and pointing out gaps in the defense. Wesley actually did some good things. You can see the improvement with him. Mamu deserves minutes. He’s one of the few players they have that has a brain. And Barnes did what you expect of a veteran. He’s desperately needed on this team. The rest? Good lord Branham has never met a screen that he can’t die on or bad shot he won’t jack up. Sochan is aimless. And Keldon lost weight but still has no clue how to play basketball. I know that Vassell, Wemby, and that cocksucker Chris Paul were out and it’s a useless preseason game, but this is a 15 win team without Vic.
  4. Spurs/Thunder pre-season game 1 tonight. The good news is that it's on CW35 locally and NBATV for those of you out of market. The bad news is that Wemby, CP3, Vassell and SGA are all out. I suppose it's a good chance to check out Castle?
  5. That turnover margin is inflated a bit by an insane +6 against Temple. That's nearly half of their 13 season turnover total. I still think they're very capable of forcing them and that pick 6 against Auburn turned the game, but they only got 1 against Auburn and 2 against TN. Both those teams were playing with inexperienced QBs. Hopefully we don't go down that road because I don't see how OU wins without winning the turnover battle and/or special teams miscues.
  6. For a network that promotes their Big Noon game as THE game to watch every week, they are putting some real duds out there. I don't know if they thought all of that through with the west coast Big 10 expansion. Out of an 18 team conference, they can't televise 4 of them when they are at home in that slot. And there's a good chunk of the rest of that conference with little to no national draw.
  7. I think Deboer is a really, really good coach. It's not often that someone of that caliber is available at just the right time in a coaching search. It seems like only Ohio State gets that consistently lucky when they are replacing their coach. Of the few losses that he does have on his record though, a disproportionate number of them are of the WTF variety. Those Washington teams were also in one nail biter after another, that they almost always won. The overall Deboer experience is going to be much different from the Saban experience for Bama fans.
  8. I went a couple of years ago with the kids. Booked an airbnb directly on lake Hamilton and then drove into town whenever we wanted. Highly recommend. There are a million places to hike. I can't remember the specific trails we went on. The ones that were directly up the mountain right behind Hot Springs were just okay, very manicured and crowded. We drove out 45 minutes for a better hike. I just googled it, and I think it was Lake Ouachita? If that was it, then it's fantastic.
  9. I think we’re plenty good but we really haven’t played anyone. Michigan looks putrid offensively. They could lose 3-4 more games. The combined record of our opponents is 13-13, and that’s being propped up by ULM being 4-1.
  10. Every now and then the stars line up and everything goes perfectly in a game. This is today for A&M.
  11. Holy shit that's rich. At the 1:36 mark, "There were teams that were NIL before NIL was popular." I've been listening to Jimbo a little bit on their SXM show. It's pretty hilarious. He's going 1000 miles per hour and poor Hester and Manuel can't get a word in edgewise.
  12. It would shock me because I don't know who in the hell Watson is.
  13. Maybe 20 years ago I went to Nola with three degenerate friends who spent so much time and money that day in the hustler club that they started bringing out free food to our table. I gotta say, I’ve had worse meals.
  14. They will get their public teabagging on November 30.
  15. Really digging it so far. It's got a little Breaking Bad vibe to it, where Oz is constantly getting into and out of more and more shit as the stakes build.
  16. Nothing really gets team and crowd going like a raucous, "Push 'em back. Push 'em back. Push 'em back Horns!"
  17. What is this Mike Elko’s most talented team shit? This is his third year as a head coach. This Aggie team is more talented than the two years he coached fucking Duke? I would hope so. Am I missing something?
