  1. Routing OU would’ve been the only route to changing voters’ minds and we’d still need help from Oregon. Beating OSU means very little. In order, Florida, Auburn, WSU and BYU absolutely fucked us. Today was disastrous.
  2. They’re not. UW will be dispatched next week. Will FSU? Today was bad.
  3. I still don't get why anyone still thinks redshirting wasnt the plan all along. Even Archie all but said that outright during an interview. He was talking about how Peyton had to play right away, but Eli shirted his first year and didn't start until he was a Junior, annnd...how he thought the way Eli did it was the better way to go. I’m pretty sure everyone knows that.
  4. Nah, he has spoken. 90% of people here fully appreciate QE.
  5. They won’t adjust and put Oregon ahead because Ducks just smoked OSU. You’re buying too much into what committee says or writes and it’s utter nonsense. Winner of of UO-UW is in. Mich in. Winner of Bama-UGA in. We need FSU to lose, were hurt by WSU losing, and were totally fucked by Auburn today. We haven’t gotten any help and we’re gonna be 5 if FSU doesn’t lose. We got the opposite of help. We got cockteased and no lubed.
  6. Prob not but sure could’ve used that loss No, they would’ve thrown them on Auburn who clearly instigated it - the return guy himself who idiotically didn’t call for touchback. And the SEC comments are really odd here. Not if they upset UGA. The Bama win being touted as preserving our best win is peak Surly.
  7. 1) I think it’s a safe assumption Quinn would’ve rolled BYU and KSU similar to Tech last night. He had a major deficiency at QB and still won both. To use his injury as some kind of detriment to him in comparison with. Herman-coached team and in effect downgrade him is the definition of bullshit. 2) I never said that. But texas 3 putt is stating Arch should start over Quinn - next year - with Quinn still there. Read the thread.
  8. A bullshit stat given Quinn certainly would’ve won 11 this year if healthy. I can’t believe there is even one poster seriously advocating Arch replacing Quinn next year if Quinn comes back (not you). People are quick to dismiss how good Quinn is and I don’t get it at all.

Please tell me OP is shit hammered.
  10. Actually it is probable Oregon would make it over Texas. How can you be SO sure of yourself here. Lol. I don’t think many people expect it, and Kirby will use it. I think UGA wins convincingly. I do think Bama is in over us with a UGA win. And there is zero chance an undefeated FSU gets left out for a 1-loss Texas.
  11. Extremely compelling. Loved the commentary. I hope the Committee sees things similarly and I hope I’m wrong. My comments are based on how I think things would go based on history. We are somewhat in control of our destiny in that we need to start beating teams’ asses.
  12. I think you’re crazy if you think the possibility of both happening is ridiculous, which is the consensus of this thread, and the total opposite of college football fans. I guarantee Alabama would make it over us if they win out.
  13. Nah. I’m not guaranteeing anything. I said I suspect it will happen and have bet as such. I may be coming across with hyperbole because there are posters here - most in fact - that dismiss this possibility as not plausible, which is ignoring reality.
  14. I do too particularly with CJ looking so good last week. I still don’t think JT is 100%, haven’t kept up with Worthy’s status and I know Quinn isn’t 100%.
  15. Mich/OSU yes, unless crazy shit happens. I hope it doesn’t come to this, but I’m almost certain Bama winning SEC creates chaos to the point of UGA remaining in. I’m not saying this is how it should occur; I’m saying this is how it will most likely happen particularly if we keep playing with our food. Different year with less qualified teams 5-8. Also the USC dismantling in the P12 CCG. I forgot temporarily we were all players for the Texas team, that this was a message board, and that this isn’t America. I’m sorry pal.
  16. I can see a 42-14 type game of Tech and frankly in CCG, and it not mattering. I think a bare minimum is beating Tech convincingly and also a decisive win in CCG game. But then we will need loads of help. With 60-0 blowouts in each game, I think that is something that changes our course. Look at OSU over Wisconsin in B1G CCG 59-0 in 2014 when they were decidedly behind TCU and. Baylor. That propelled them, a lot of people in Texas were pissed and OSU went on to win championship. We have shown zero ability to blow teams out this season.
  17. In that model it is appreciably lower at best and close to 0% at worst.

  19. Agreed on Big 10 unless some really weird shit happens in that game Saturday. UGA will undoubtedly have a better case if they keep it close. It won’t be tough to get around that transitive argument for UGA at all. If UT, UO and UGA are the 3 teams for the final 2 spots, I think we are odd man out unless we start blowing teams out.
  20. Correct. Look at Vegas odds. We are 6th to make it. Right on par with UW (at #7) and decidedly ahead of FSU, interestingly. Decidedly BEHIND Bama at #5. And of course UGA, but that’s not representative about the SEC CCG loser argument I’m making.
