  1. I’m sorry. I’ll put my phone down in the dugout here. “As a fan base”. Lol.
  2. Are you on delay? Anyway, you’re wrong on Gray and certainly are tonight.
  3. Fucking Chapman is def coming in with that gif.
  4. Well, you should. Bochy isn’t changing anything and if he does, moving fucking Taveras out of CF would be beyond dumb.
  5. Does Bochy bring in Chappy? I think so. I wouldn’t, but think the skip will. I’m riding Sborz assuming he’s not hurt. As soon as he allows a runner, I’m moving to Leclerc. If he’s hurt, I’m asking Leclerc to go two innings.
  6. I’m so sick of watching Garver and Heim at bats. They are utterly lost. At least Lowe and Leody are fighting through it and occasionally giving us good ABs.
  7. Makes more sense. Was doing 4 days’ rest math in my head for Evo. I imagine Heaney gets start tomorrow. If Game 7 is the case, I’m riding J Gray tonight. It’s incredibly important to get this win.
  8. Makes sense. So onto the bullpen. Who starts Games 4 and 5? Evo and Monty? I assume so.
  9. Me too. I love Josh, glad we have him and he’s a pleasure to watch. Just needs some patience at the plate. He’s WAY too aggressive.
  10. I’ll guess 4. Give Sborz the 8th, and Leclerc the 9th, skip Chappy.
  11. He’ll go more than 2 if he’s doing his job. I’ll guess 3.1.
  12. I’d have batted him there all season. I’d always put a guy that is .327/.623 and 33 and 96 in the 3 hole. Weird having a guy that would’ve hit 45 HRs in a full year hitting 2. He clearly would have had more RBI that way.
  13. To cleanup, where he’s been batting all playoffs? When it only matters for first inning purposes if one of the other high OBP guys don’t get on? Well, okay. I disagree.
  14. I’m strictly thinking of guys that get on base (and it is just a matter of time for Semien to do it more consistently, and Leody can draw walks), and then my 3-5 can and will knock them in. I think L-R sequentially is an overrated consideration. I’m sick of solo shots. If our deep ball isn’t there we run the risk of a poor offensive game. Regardless, our 5-9 guys outside of Jung must start hitting. We need pre-WS Mitch, and desperately need non-shit plate appearances from Lowe, Leody and Heim. They’ve done very little the whole playoffs.
  15. I don’t understand why the order isn’t: 1) Semien 2) Carter 3) Seager 4) Adolis 5) Jung 6) Garver 7) Lowe / Heim 8) Heim/Lowe 9) Taveras But I haven’t won 3 World Series and don’t pitch products like Bruce Bochy’s Chicory-Flavored Coffee Tobacco Cologne & Leather Tanning Kit For Kids, so what the fuck do I know.
  16. Far more likely that four of, in order, FSU, OSU, Michigan, UGA and Washington will lose than it is for all of the above to happen AND also have all of, in order, Oregon, Bama, Texas, Penn St, OU, Ole Miss, Mizzou and Louisville lose another game AND have one of them make the playoff? I don’t think so, and am willing to bet.
  17. Tap in? Okay, I’ll take the points. Im not talking shit. Im calling it like I see it, and frankly everyone I know sees it the same way, but Surly sees it differently. Your obnoxious take is a guy that is 6-1 with 13 TDs and 3 INTs with a 164 rating and literally the highest ranked recruit ever should be scrapped in the midst of a 7-1 season because you saw a few things you liked out of a complete project. That sentiment prevails here. Im prob getting negged because I’m not providing the requisite preambles here that I understand MM is a redshirt freshman, etc. I understand that. This isn’t last year. We have a chance to win the conference champ and cannot wait on MM to develop. I understand this isn’t his fault but your hot take is particularly ridiculous.
  18. Of course I hoped for that. And no, I didn’t know how he’d perform. Weird analogy, considering Bradley wasn’t hurt, and MM is markedly worse than QE, unlike Street. Apparently my assessment wasn’t appreciated. Hope I’m wrong and we beat KSU. I’ll just fuck off.
  19. Joke headline. His rating was on par with Quinn versus Wyoming. Every other start QE blew him out of the water (including UH). Beyond that he didn’t pass the eye test. He made 4 good throws and is very lucky he didn’t have 4 turnovers. The game was bad, and I’m already anticipating a KSU loss. We don’t have time for a developmental project.
  20. Insanity. I guess you didn’t see Quinn play against Cougar High.
  21. Buddy every receiver everywhere wears gloves even if noodle arm Case McCoy throw to you. I know this was pre-game wishful thinking but come on man. The pick was awful and so was the fumble. He should’ve been picked two other times. He is not ready and won’t be here. There were times he looked like he hadn’t played the position before.
